I’m new to the echo devices. I decided to purchase one Echo dot along with two Echo Show 5’s. It is amazingly fast and informational. Love being able to play music on all the devices at once.

Amazon Alexa works great and use the dots throughout my home. The intercom into different room feature is great as well as listening to music throughout the house.

Although not the very latest model, the Echo Dot is a very reliable product. Not only do I play music through the Dot, it also allows me to control my lights through out the house, and actually control my TV (via YouTube Tv). I am very happy with this product.

We loved getting it for Christmas so much we went and purchased another one for each kid’s room. Now they use did every night to play soothing music before bed.

Echo Dots are easy to set up. Easy to use. Ask for the weather or a recipe just name it and she has the answer.

I had one of these already, and I’d recommend this over the 4th generation in a heartbeat. The only major difference would be the shape, and the mic array. The largest problem with the 4th generation is going to be the mic array, you basically have to almost yell for it to hear you. The 3rd generation does not have this problem. It hears me clearly, and the notification light is where I am able to see it. The processing speed is slightly slower than the 4th generation, but that’s almost not noticeable. I recommend the 3rd generation echo dot, over the 4th generation echo dot.

I love the 3rd Gen echo dot. the speaker is so much better then the gen 2 was. Alexa is great to have around the house for simple tasks such as whole home audio to setting timers to giving reminders.

this is just a must have if you are in the Amazon ecosystem and you do not want to spend much money on price gadgets. it just does everything you want alexa to do for you

Provides great sound quality for streaming music without taking up much counter space.Mine is in my kitchen making it easy to ask Alexa to add needed recipe items to my shopping list.

I love my echo! It is fun for playing music and connects to my TV so when I lose the remote I can turn on the TV still

Love it!!! How did I ever live without it. Works great, Get questions answered fast, make phone calls all speaker, Turn off lights and TV at bed time. Super cool

This 3rd generation Dot is great. The speakers on the sides are a big improvement. I have 2 in my computer room and paired them for stereo sound and they rock! Sound is clear even at loud volumes.

I purchased the 3rd generation Amazon echo dot and I'm satisfied with the purchase, although sometimes it doesn't recognize when you're talking to it.

I was apprehensive on purchasing this but it has been fun. I love to listen to the questions he ask and the answers he gets. It should help him with his spelling difficult words and phrases.

Alexa teaches me what she can do, so I am constantly discovering new uses. Easy to set up and I love that it notifies me when my Amazon purchases have arrived. #SandyFLL
