I tried to hook up my roku device to my Echo device, it connected to the device but wouldn't turn the Tv on or off. other than that the device works great.

Great for teen gift

I wasn't sure how they would like them and how well they would work out. However, the kids love them. My package came with smart light bulbs also and they love that they can now wirelessly turn on and off the lights and set them on timers so they can get in bed before shutting off the lights. I am now thinking I need one for the living room and maybe even my bedroom.
