Love how I can connect my music accounts and then ask Alexa to play something from my music. Sometimes she is a bit slow to respond to commands; I sometimes wonder if I need to repeat my commands. She eventually responds. Love how I can listen in on my pups at anytime to see if they are doing well. Big Brother is listening!!

I happen to think that the smaller size is much more pleasing to the eye and the aesthetic of the room. Beside, I have a great stereo system so I don’t need the bigger model.

This is the 2nd Echo I've purchased in a month. Totally addicted, love the ease of setup & use, the speaker is great quality and I will be purchasing more.

Great gadget to have in the office. It handles request fairly easy. I was really surprised at how the music sounds . nice speaker i usually listen to Pandora.

I’m amazed by how good this speaker sounds. It’s so small but sounds great in a bedroom. Perfect for us. Getting more for the other rooms in our home.

Compared to the 2nd Gen Echo the 3rd Gen is a major improvement. Better microphone & speaker. Also the 3rd Gen matches the other current Echo’s with the cloth fabric over the speaker.

This echo device has a much nicer speaker than generation one. It is much less crunchy and it is much nicer looking. I even like the shape of the device more than Gen. 1

Love this thing! Sound is awesome , nice and small, i can listen to amazon music and create playlist . Set reminders and alarms you name it!

So far it's been good. If you want better sound quality, you might want to upgrade or go with gen 4. I have customized it so much, makes me speechless. I also have one of those nifty little plugs, so I plug in my tree to it, and say "Alexia, Merry Christmas", and the tree comes on and the Echo Dot plays "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree". I also have a Roku, and I can tell it to turn on, and it turns on the TV and starts playing. I can turn on lights, including the close detached garage lights. I've got more to try, but just after a couple weeks, I'm impressed.

I have an Echo that covers my livingroom dining room and kitchen area if my house. I got this Echo Dot as an add on to some Hue products I bought from BBY right after Christmas. I have it paired to a soundbar in my bedroom which works great. I can now play music through my sound bar using Alexa and can use this dot to control my other smart devices from my bedroom. The speaker definately isn't as powerful as the Echo but it is still plenty powerful enough for me to speak to and hear responses from my connected bathroom or closet. It was a great way to extend Alexa into another room and I may pick up another one of these for my guest bedroom.

Better sound than the older version. Design and looks quite better as well . There's not much appealing in terms of functionality of it as far as the amazon echo dot capability. One good thing about it is I got it on sale so no regrets. Just an addition to many dots that I already owned scattered inside my home .

Compared to the Gen 2 Dot, the new Gen 3 looks and sounds better. I use mine primarily for music and it sounds great. Can also be paired with a Fire Stick for audio.

Are use this in my office and it’s great for playing music from my phone and my iPod same flavors. The perfect office companion and it’s small and out of sight.

This device wakes me up to my favorite gospel music which is amazing. You can set it to music or news stations of your choice. Just say the word and its on..

Got it for sale and my family really enjoys using it for simple task. Pairs with tons of different devices.

I still haven't figured out if Alexa is listening "and recording" all of the time. She says she doesn't, but I don't expect her to admit it if she does listen and record. Nevertheless, I love Alexa. She is a very helpful tool, courteous and polite. I haven't had any problems of note that I do not believe are related to my lack of technological skills. I am satisfied with my Alexa. She even gives me the square root of any number, how many steps in a mile, and just told me how to make and cook a pizza. Wow! I love Alexa!

I haven't had the Echo Dot very long but so far it has been a great. The sound quality for a small speaker is good and using the Alexa feature has been simple.
