This Dot is my 6th Alexa. Great and easy connectivity Great sound for a bedroom. Grouped easily with my others to broaden my group. Amazon has marketed this gem very well.

The Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen was part of a purchase for a Ring Video Doorbell. It was a promo included with the purchase. At first I wasn't sure that I would use it but found out after install that is is very useful. Set up with the Alexa APP was simple and quick. So far I have asked Alexa several questions with quick and accurate response as well as using the alarm and asking Alexa to play music. No more looking up on the internet if I need a quick answer to a question or as simple as checking the temperature. I might consider a second purchase in the future.

The Echo dot is a great first smart speaker. It’s a perfect size to tuck away and still have it respond to your requests. It also works great with a smart plug.

Easy to use, simple to set up. Sound quality is amazing and easily hung with double sided mounting tape! Perfect for the bathroom or other small areas!

OMG, Alexa is my best friend. Easy setup and Alexa answers my requests right away. Easy connection to other devices.

The Echo Dot is a great fun tool for everyday tasks from playing music, checking the weather, to controlling other smart home products. It was easy to set up and control.

As would be expected with any of the Amazon Echo products, this Echo Dot works well and is a favorite tool for the whole family. The Alexa app sensed it straight away and made it a breeze to set up. The main reason we bought this was to be able to play the same music on all Echo Dots in the house simultaneously, especially during parties. The functionality of this product seems limitless and we are very happy with it. Now if I could just get all my kid's friends to stop saying, "Alexa" every five seconds with a different command...

I love this item. Wakes me up in the morning and even wishes me a good day by name. Also plays Pandora whenever I ask.

I honestly do not like these items, and have avoided buying for a few years. For the cost, they are quite impressive. Voice recognition and speed of response is really good, sound volume and quality is much better than a tablet/phone. I only purchased as a way for the kids to listen to music playlists without having a screen nearby, which it functions very well (essentially any bluetooth speaker requires using the device). Also, if you aren't aware, there are some 3rd party rechargeable batteries you can buy that make the unit portable.

Easy to use and very low profile/sturdy. Will be good to link a few up throughout the house. Good sound quality too.

My Echo Dot 3 has all the previous capabilities plus much better sound. Like previous Dots, it easy to set up. And, for the slightly higher price is worth it for better sound.

The Echo Dot was easy to set up. The voice is a little low, but clear. It takes a few seconds for it to respond to a question. It was worth the sale price.

Amazing little device and simple to use. Our family uses the Music playing element the most. Sure makes washing those dishes more tolerable.

The 3rd generation combines the best features of the original full-sized Amazon Echo (great sound) with the smaller, more accessible size of the 2nd-generation Echo dot (that had fairly poor quality sound) into a package that is both compact and affordable, but can still fill a room with surprisingly good sound.

This works amazingly, installation was easy and quick. Sound quality is perfect for a small places at least for 1BR, doesn't occupy much space. Overall I like it very much.

Big sound and value in a small package. Doesn't take up any space and delivers great sound, entertainment, music, sports, news, weather and more.

We have three Echo's in our home and would hate to live without them. One is in our bedroom and mostly serves as an alarm clock and light switch. One in the garage controls the lights and is used to stream music to an external blue tooth speaker. The one in our great room is used to play background music. It has such great sound that our Bose is collecting dust most of the time. And of course it controls multiple lights and receptacles.

Pretty much the same echo dot but looks a whole lot nicer. Does not take up a lot of space and gets the job done. Pair with a nice Bluetooth speaker and you have a winner!
