They fit into bedrooms, we have one in the family room. Great to have when I want to call everyone to dinner or announce a company has arrived, etc. to get everyone into the same room. they are used as wake up alarms with just the alarm or music. They also help with homework problems. The only problem we have had is we can't use it in our home office because it can't pick up the Wi-Fi signal through the cement walls. The modem/router is in the main house.

More subtle than 4th gen
