Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. We had not used these devices before, but getting it working was fairly easy.

Pretty much works as advertised. Loses connection sometimes but that could be my wifi. I use it to listen to music

It is a great gadget if you are comfortable with the installation process. I bought it around the time the Ring customers were being hacked, so i had an IT friend checking the connection to the wifi to make sure it is password protected & behind my firewall. I got it free with a fire tv pusrchase.

Much improved over the 2nd gen. Great small footprint. However, I would opt for the regular size Echo over this. The regular sized one picks up my voice without yelling and the speaker is much better than on this echo dot. Still a great product if you are looking for a more affordable or smaller echo device.

Come in handy. Really easy to install. Able to ask Alexa anything nd set alarms

This is a basic standard Alexa device. It is great for lower traffic areas where you seek connectivity. Its great for laundry rooms, garages, etc. where you seek to stay connected but don't want to pay a high price for devices with more capabilities, better sound, etc.

My daughter is loving it. She uses it for a lot of chores as well as entertainment. It's a long list if I go to write how she is utilizing the device. a must have type of thing when you deal with smart devices. Feels like you have a virtual assistant available 24/7

I really didn't think I wanted one of these but since I read technical stuff and I have the books on kindle, I can have it read the section for me and read along with it mark areas I need to review or comment on and pause Alexa. You have to get used to the voice and the reading pace and of course IV is not 4 but ivy.

Got this for free with a promo purchasing a TV. Once we had it we enjoyed it enough to purchase another one for our daughter's room that is on another floor for Xmas. We love the drop-in feature which allows us to talk to them through the device VS. yelling across the house for their attention.

same as my older Alexa...but it does look better with the fabric wrap...was no problem trading out the old one​ for the newer one.

The sound is much better in the 3rd generation echo than the original version. The cost was excellent and easy to set up!

This is a nice device if you just want something simple for the Amazon ecosystem. Responds to voice commands well and sounds good.

Worth the money. So many fun skills. But I was shocked at how frequently I use it for alarms and timers, weather updates, listening to music and best of all....Alexa finds my phone for me!

Very useful for the neurodivergent. Can’t go back to not having one. I now have one in every room

Hestitantely we added this to our bonus room, it was nice to have Alexa play holiday music on demand, or ask the scores of sports games.

Love this little compact unit and works great with my Sonos speakers. Easy to get up and running and control and lock down.

Works great to control lights and listen to music.

I haven’t quite figured out what all I can do with Alexa yet so as of now it’s a clock and radio but I like it lol

Never thought we needed this until we got one. Use it on a daily basis for reminders, timers, making list for groceries etc.
