We wanted to wait a while before we did a review on this washer so now it's been 3 years and the only problem we've had so far is it stopped working once and we had to reset it by unplugging it and then plugging it back in then it worked fine also if you're thinking of purchasing this one or any front load washer a word of advice after wash day is over leave the door open till the next day to let it dry out and you will never get mold or a funky smell it is a nice washing machine perfect for our size family thank you

So far so good. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't had it long, It's a bit smaller than I expected, but does the job. My favorite feature is the quick wash cycle.

Best Buy did an oustanding job selling and installing our new Maytag appliances. They work fantastic!

After another major home appliance chain let me down, I decided to try Best Buy. I've never purchased an appliance from them before, but was very pleased with the experience. They delivered the model I wanted in a very reasonable time of one week. Their delivery persons were efficient, knowledgeable & quick with the installation.

Initially decent washer, but watch out. After 1 year you're in your own and this model has a high rate of reported draining issues. This is what happened to me. I thought I would be OK under the 10 year parts warranty but... you cannot request parts, they have to send a tech and you are forced to pay $140+mileage for them to even look at it. The 10 year warranty is basically just a money grab where they can get you to pay for a tech and then costly repairs that rival the cost of the washer with only 2 parts that they cover for free replacement (but not labor). When I purchased the 10 year warranty gave me peace of mind, but I see it was now just a false sense of security...

Purchased in April 2018. Longest cycles ever - well over 3 hours to do a heavy duty load. First machine we got would not stop spinning at the end of a cycle. 20+ minutes on final spin before I manually stopped it as I was worried the motor would burn up. Returned the first machine after a week, got a replacement. Final spin still super long, but the cycle actually finishes...after a 10 minute final spin sometimes. The machine developed a leak after less than a year. I took the whole thing apart twice to try to find the source and could not find the source. The bellow is disintegrating after less than two years (this was NOT the source of the leak). For some reason objects get caught in the drain pump easily, like change, etc. While it's my fault for not clearing them out of pockets, the washer should not have big enough drain holes to suck quarters into the drain. Additionally, cleaning the drain pump involves a LOT of disassembly as there is no easy access. I've done it twice in 5 months and I will not be doing it again. Getting rid of this thing, worst $700 mistake ever. At least it was on sale?

Four years later and I’ve had zero issues with this washer. Other than that, it’s a typical front loader. It cleans well, and make sure you don’t leave the door closed.

good washer works as it should wish there were more wash time options or custom time options. This washer has preset wash times

I would not give this thing 1 star. Got it with in 6 months had to have service due to it not draining. The maytag service guy comes out say says ohh it's just not seated correctly. Claims he levels it off. 3 days same problem. 6 months later the warranty is up and it's giving me this E2 F6 Error 110 dollars just to tell me what's wrong with it. NEVER WILL I EVER buy another maytag anything. Lucky all i can give is one star. It doesn't deserve that one

Junk... normal was cycle takes 3 hours so with a family of 4 everything gets washed on rapid 30 minute cycle...always throwing some kind of error code ...i finally had to drill a small hole in the top of it and run a piece of string down to the manual door unlock latch inside so the wife could open it or it just stays locked

NEVER AGAIN. Loud as a jet engine when it spins, shakes my whole 2nd story. Also sometimes the clothes are more wet coming out of a cycle than they should be. But the worst is that it lasted 2 years. Yes, just 24 months of use on a $900 machine. The circuit board went bad...no parts are available anywhere...no one is making them. They said it MIGHT be 3 more months...but they can't be sure. If you cannot afford to go without a way to wash clothes for an unknown amount of time then do not buy a Maytag.

Got this washer like 2 years ago and the washer never work straight for 3 months without calling for tech support ,purchased protection plan for extra 5 years and after a year i was told by bestbuy geek squad that i have to pay for each time time tech comes out and spare part .the major problem with washer was it clogged all the time and wont drain properly ,i believe it got bad and worst draining technique .

Door seal leaks only after a few months. Warranty did not cover anything. Parts and labor to replace are more than what the washer cost. This washer is junk. Do not buy.

There is no easy way to drain it and the drum seems smaller than my LG. Buy the LG. And the matted top is hard to keep clean.

It’s been almost a couple years since we purchased this washer machine. It was also our first maytag appliance we’d ever purchased and we were excited to give it a try. Well, we will never purchase anything Maytag ever again. The first time we used the machine it kept giving an error message with a spinning cycle and that went on for a while and all of a sudden that problem goes away and it starts leaking water. In the manual it says if the machine is overloaded or has too much soap it could leak. So I always made sure not to do that and the machine would leak randomly like 3 out of 5 times I wash. I finally called the customer service a few weeks ago to have somebody out or to get a solution but nobody answered. It didn’t tell me how long the wait was or how many people were in front of me but rather it just rang rang and rang and I finally gave up. It’s been a headache to deal with this machine and I don’t know what to do with it since Maytag doesn’t even want to answer their phone and I don’t want to purchase a new machine when we only bought it a couple years ago.... this machine is also very loud that I never owned anything louder than this. The touch buttons are so sensitive we always have to lock and unlock all the time.. very disappointed in Maytag.

Great price on something g well worth, easy to use, very spacious.
