Issues with cleaning, maintenance, & heavy loads

This washer doesn't spin heavy loads reliably and is an absolute nightmare to clean or maintain. The drain filter is at the bottom facing forward with no front acces panel. Heaven help you if it clogs. This is an abolutely horrible design especially if you have lots of pet hair like we do. It also doesn't spin heavy loads well of at all, often stopping half way though the cycle with soaked towels and a drum half fill of water. Comforters and bed sheets are a crap shoot...you honestly don't know if it will spin or not. So dissapointed as I expected much more from Maytag and will never buy another washer (especially a Maytag) that doesnt have front acces to clean out the filter.

Horrible Vibrations

Once we tried the first load it vibrated so violently it shook portraits off of the wall and physically moved our freezer in the kitchen. We removed the base thinking that maybe it was mounted wrong and tried another small load. Again it sook just as as a did the first time. To make matters worse doth times the clothing in the machine was sopping wet when it finished.

Never Buying Maytag/Whirlpool Again

Have had to call customer service on the Stove, then the Dishwasher (twice) and now the washer. The cost of adding service plans are more expensive than just buying a quality brand like Samsung. Do yourself a favor, and stay away until they figure out how to make a quality product that lasts.

Electronic (circuit board) controlled washing is a hopelessly bad idea. Consider the environment: Lots of vibration, and wetness = broke all the time!

Washer Vibrates
