Roomba s9+ Excellent performance. Work as expected....

The other vacuum has its limitations but is a convenient, helpful device, so I was curious to see how the iRobot compared. One feature I particularly like is that it cleans in straight lines up and down the floor, rather than my other vacuum which moves in random crisscross patterns and seems to miss some areas this way. I also like that you can tailor the settings, such as battery use, cleaning power, and number of passes through the room. Of course the most exciting feature, compared to my other robot vacuum, is that it will empty the dust bin on its own. Setup was quick and easy; I was able to link it to my Google Home. The app is also user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. One of the most prohibitive features of this vacuum is the price. Corded, manual vacuums are much cheaper, and there are other robot vacuums selling at half the cost of this iRobot. I question whether these additional bells and whistles are really worth the extra cost. Another unfortunate feature of the vacuum was that it repeatedly got stuck underneath a piece of furniture, and I couldn’t figure out how to ban that area to prevent it happening again. Finally, at its highest, most detailed clean setting, it is pretty loud – my dog was scared of it, and my six-year-old wanted to send it back. This was solved by decreasing the cleaning power, but I think it’s important to note that if you want a very good clean, it’ll be loud. In sum, I would recommend this vacuum if you can afford it, but the price will be prohibitive for many. It definitely has some of the coolest technology right now, but I’m uncertain if that technology is worth it.

Quit working after about 7 months. iRobot sent me a “new” one minus battery and brushes and wanted me to pay to send back the old unit. Warranty is only one year, with 5 months left, no way in H3LL I’m giving them more money. They work good, when they work.

The worse , don’t waste your money.i have a old roomba for like 7 years and work amazing I said is time for a new one and I bought this , expensive and never work at 100%

Love it! I have to pick up my throw rugs or it gets caught but other than that... LOVE IT

I had an older version of the Roomba Vacuum. It was fantastic but this newer model is even better! The automatic dust bin makes it so much easier! The app allows me to program different rooms and I can even program areas for it to stay out of! It never touches the dog's water bowl! You will not regret the purchase of this vacuum!

It is expensive but we love it. We use it almost every day.

Great addition to the house... took 6 sessions to map the house .

Last model was good but had to stay after cleaning out the brushes and had nuisance alarms at times. Replaced with this model. Has worked every night since purchased. Larger brushes on this model. Do not get the dog hair build up in the brush ends on this one. Great upgrade. Buy the warranty. It’s worth it. No hassle return if you have problems.

We have a 960 and never had an issue. It vacuumed our wood floors and went into our dining and living rooms seamlessly and had no issues with the rugs in these rooms. The living room is a little high but not thick or shaggy. The 960 never got stuck on this. The newest model? Stuck every time. iRobot support says the S9 is heavier and therefore has a tendency to do this. It’s a shame bc the auto suction power between carpets and wood floors was great. And it’s so powerful. But too bulky for its own good on carpet. Stay with the 960 or 980 and if you have to have the auto disposal go with the i7+ until iRobot comes out with a lighter model. Disappointed

Pro: Best vacuuming ability compared to older models when it works. I really love the automatic dust bin. Cons: Rollers seem to be made a little cheaper and more prone to quick wear. lid for the dust bin seems to pop open easily. (throws a code) I have had many roombas and don't mind tinkering to keep them running properly. However, anyone considering purchasing should look up the code 31 error roomba is having with this model. Once they work out the bugs I will definitely purchase again.....but that time is not now.

This unit is an upgrade from my Roomba 980. The 980 still had impressive cleaning performance, but the automatic dirt disposal dock and the room mapping made me take the plunge. I can honestly say, the s9 blows my 980 out of the water! I can definitely see an upgrade in the cleaning ability and I am very happy with the upgrade!

Love my vacrooom!! Cant believe i didnt do this earlier. Deff get the m6 mop as well. Does have some issues picking some stuff up but honestly a pisticaho shell and or stray walnut shell should not be on the floor lol and watch shoelaces. Other than that I love it.

vacuum works great. however you need to replace bags often. bags are fairly expensive

It does a better job than I expected. Quietly efficient.
