I guess I am spoiled by wired sound. These sounded tinny and lacked good deep sounds. I also couldn't get the chat/game to work correctly most of the time. I would tap the control one time and it would go all the way to either chat, or all the way to game sound, maybe I was doing something wrong. They seemed really well built, but just couldn't justify keeping them for they price.

Little pricey but you cant beat the quality of the material or the sound. I use them with my xbox series x. You'll have to install a firmware update by hooking it up to your pc but after that you plug the usb cord in and your ready to go.

Astro is not great at designing their website or training tech support. There is another version of the Astro Command Center that is not downloaded from the windows store. The way you get to it is by going to the Astro website, and instead of hovering over support and clicking software, just click the header "support." This will bring you directly to the windows download version that comes directly from the Astro site. This version worked perfectly and I am no longer having any issues. Unfortunately, this was not something that tech support was aware of.

Wish the Astro instructions were clearer about maximizing settings - I would recommend Googling the setup process to make sure you getting the best quality equalizing and setting up. There are some good content on Astro's blog site.

App Issues To Update The Headset

I ended up returning this head set because it had caused me so many problems. The headset needs and app to update and access all of its special add ons. The headset couldn’t be detected on the app, it caused me to download some sort of hardware in order to update it. I updated it and it still wouldn’t detect it. I tried another solution and it ended up crashing my computer. I had to get that repaired, Overall this headset comes with a lot of issues at the begging. It’s not poorly made it’s very good quality headset, it’s just annoying that atro’s has yet to come up with a better solution.
