The sound quality is amazing and they are very durable and the battery life last a long time

Probably the only “gaming” headphones that could compete with these in the price range are the Steelseries Nova’s. I would recommend against relying on these for quality audio. The audio does come through decently well and doesn’t fatigue me for longer sessions. It also has enough kick in the bass frequency (could massage my ears). Responded well across the volume range and still impactful at lower volumes. It can also go very loud if need be unlike some other wireless headphones. It uses its own volume gain that’s independent of MS Windows volume controls. Latency was great for real-time gaming. Thermals were decent (probably one of the best for gaming category) but far from open-back headphone quality. I would definitely recommend aftermarket earcups if you run hot. I do dislike that I couldn’t remove the oversized microphone boomstick that was causing my the center of mass to skew towards the left side of my head. The audio output was limited to 16-bit, 44kHz audio (Windows would not let me set higher) and so will miss a lot of detail from higher grade audio sources. Ultimately, I returned these as I found myself neglecting them too often for my wired Sennheiser + DAC/Amp system or my desk speakers. The AS50 just missed out on too much detail and enjoyment that my mid-tier audiophile was pushing. I think they do have a chance at prevailing if they only update their electronics to support at least 24-bit, 48kHz as their drivers and gain control sounded pretty decent.

I love the astro a50. I had a set a few years ago, These are much more comfortable, sound quality is excellent. The only thing i wish it would be just a tad louder

The headset is very comfortable on the head, with amazing sound quality. This is my second pair of these specific headphones and would never go another route. Great product and great quality! 10/10 recommend for gaming/ office use needs

Good quality for sure just very overpriced for what you get. Needs rgb’s and a lot over priced to me. You can get just as good of a wireless headset for a lot cheaper price with a lot cooler features.

This headset is amazing. I'm very happy with this purchase (overall). I do not use the mic, so I cannot really give a solid review regarding that, but the audio quality is phenomenal........after changing settings. Out of the box, the default sound settings are complete trash! So unless you're an audiophile, you're left with scouring the web for a good audio profile to use. Well, let me help you out a bit. Search for the profile named: ZaliaS PureAudio This is heralded as the best profile for just about everything; and I completely agree. I only wish the default settings were more useful/helpful. Another point for gaming, make sure to have the setting with "star" on, not "dolby" so you can have proper spatial sound.

all my gaming buddies owned Astro A50's so i decided to try them out. they were great headphone and very convenient since they are wireless, but i use my headphone for more than just gaming on my PC and i didn't perform to my liking on other things, so went back to a more expensive wired headset that i owned before

I have always wanted to splurge and pick up a pair of Astro A50's. I finally did it and let me tell you, they are worth every penny! It's probably the most comfortable headset I've ever worn, the sound quality is great and the charging base station is amazing! I would highly recommend this headset to any avid gamer! If you've had your eyes on this headset too, pull the trigger. You won't regret it.

Easy to use, very high quality sounds and high quality feel when using it, also works for pc, ps5, switch and xbox only reason it doesnt get the 5 star is because when recording gameplay using an elgato for the ps5 u have to buy an astro adapter to record if you want to hear gameplay audio

Amazing sound quality and crystal clear microphone, it has an amazing voice/game sound switch to control what you want to be louder. Very comfortable to the ear and does not hurt you after hours of use!!!

I got this headphones like 3 or 4 years ago? Idk. They still work and I never really had any problems with it. It connects fast. The quality is really good and the sound quality is even better. You can hear footsteps around you.

The latest generation of these is great, base station is much smaller, and having them constantly charging when not wearing basically ends up meaning there's never a battery issue. Sound is great, mic is good (could be a little better but still clear and loud enough). Overall a bit pricey but there's not many other options that offer this feature set and none at a lower price.

So I had purchased this new headset and the first ones 4th charging light indicator wouldn’t light up. I exchanged it and now the second ones base station had frozen and I unplug it and plug it in only for it to not turn on again. I’m going to return it until they get these issues figured out. Otherwise while I was able to use it it had the best sound I’ve heard in a hdmi f headset. Base station is more portable and easier to place the headset in than previous models. It also cut out less on the new frequency they are using. And Dolby Atmos rocks. Shame that such an expensive headset has quality control issues at release a few months later.

Headset works great but the program it comes with doesn’t seems to want to pair with the headset. Other than that sound quality and comfortability are great.

Last gen kept cutting out because of the 5Hz WiFi connection and I’m so glad that they fixed it with these! The software is easy to use and I like that they allow 2 platforms with 1 headset. The base also can also pass sound to speakers or even a sound bar for when you’re watching movies! Base is small and hardly takes any room up. Headset sometimes goes 2-3 days before needing to charge.

I've tried these headphones on my Mac, PC, and TV, and it works great on all of them. The microphone quality is the best I have seen in any wireless headset. And because it is 2.4GHz wireless, the audio quality is amazing. In Dolby mode it sounds and feels like I'm in a theater. Super comfortable and lots of cool features that left me thoroughly impressed!

The comfort on this thing is amazing! Then to top it off, the sound quality on it is amazing as well. Now for $300, it definitely feels like a $300 headset, just upgraded from the A20 and these are definitely the better pair. If you're an avid gamer, or even just someone who works on zoom sessions and what not these will definitely be the pair to buy for work or play.
