This is my favorite headset for gaming. The sound on this is unbelievable. I upgraded from the one that had the mix amp. did not like the cords and the sound only would come out of one side of the headset. This one has been great and the battery lasts a long time, then just pop it on the base to recharge.

Really nice they feel great and the sound is great I really like the Dolby atmos for games that support that. They work well with Xbox and pc the build quality is typical Astro really nice and comfortable. Microphone quality is good and the charging is good just set it and forget it.

Great headset! I bought these because my old pair of turtle beach stealth 600s were just literally falling apart, a friend of mine has a pair of astro A50s and recommended me to give them a try. The only downsides I have with the Headset so far are that My longer hair get caught in the adjustable rails, and the headset doesn't just sit into the base easily it takes a bit of finesse to get it into the right spot for charging. Altogether I think this is definitely one of the best headsets for xbox and they do work really well on my Series X

The Astros are expensive but well made and excellent sound and comfort. I wanted to upgrade my current 5 year old Astros and actually tested four of the top brands in this price category. The Astros won hands down.

This product is super convenient for me to be able to play the game I am a streamer and needed a headset that fits my needs. In order to stream though I had to make this purchase because I own a PS5. In order to pick up sound from the game you NEED this headset. However though you will need to purchase the astro A50 adapter if you are trying to stream on OBS software. I highly encourage though getting the upgraded version of this headset the ASTRO A50X that comes pre-installed with the adapter for each console. (PS5, PS4, XBOX S/X, and PC)

The quality and clarity of these wireless headphones is worth the price. Being used on PC, but so glad they also work with Xbox. The “plug ins” online to improve quality were easy to install (go to Astro’s website) and work well. Holds a good charge and very comfortable. Recommended.

The headset itself is great. The problem comes with charging it on the dock. It’s hit or miss whether it’s charging and there’s a lot of times when I think it’s charging and I come back to a dead headset.

they made good improvements to the wireless connection from the "green" model. I was having constant disconnects with the older model. The battery has much better life than the "green" model from 2 years ago too. Only complain is that it's a little pricey. Can buy an XBOX One X for what this costs.

First of all, they are expensive. If you can get passed the price, they are a great headset. Audio presets can be changed and tweaked. For gamers, there are presets which can improve the clarity of certain sounds in-game. Headset is comfortable, and there is a mod kit for purchase for a different set of ear pads and headset pad. The charging base works, but if you decide to use custom ear pads, the headset might not fit on the base depending on the size of the pads. Luckily, the ear pads attaches to a plastic trim, which is magnetic.

I’ve had this headset for about a year now and it still works like it did on the first day. The only issue I have with the headset is that it’ll randomly disconnect from the console on its own. Its an easy fix of just resetting the headset, but for the headset being so expensive you’d expect for those issues to not occur. Other than that the headset works great, I’m able to hear all sounds clearly and the mic quality is great.

Hey! We appreciate you being a Logitech customer and enjoying the sound and mic quality of your Astro A50 Gen 4, we understand random disconnects can be frustrating. Astro Gaming is actually a separate company specializing in high-end audio products for gamers, so we can't provide direct support for their headsets.

Now that I've returned this headset after several months of use I will tell you the sound and controls are terrific. Now for the bad. The docking station is tough the get the headset down on the contact pins correctly. The bigest problem is that the headset small tiny screws that construct the headset comes out and these are very small allen screws that is very tiny. When the first came out, the srew was still in the hole. Tightened that one and all the ohters too. most were tight but there were a couple that could be tightened. Now fast forward to ove a week ago when I was having the toughest time with the connection. The end was when another screw came out and I was having a hard time finding that damned screw. Exchanged the headeset for a Sony H9 InZone headset. I will review that headset soon. If there was a foolproof slot for docking and the srews stayed in I would have had no problem with this headset. Maybe your luck will be different.

After purchasing 3 headsets for my son with 18 months, this one has actually held up for almost a year now!! Spending the extra money a long with the warranty that will replace it if anything happens.. (yes I read the entire fine print before opting for it) lol. It’s definitely worth the extra coin to buy a quality piece.

Excellent sound quality through optical connection, footsteps are clear directionally and they provide a great sound stage. Microphone is also pretty solid, no complaints on either one of those fronts. However, build quality could use a little buff for the price point, my band on the top constantly pops out from lack of good clips to hold it in place but that’s my only gripe thus far.

Do not buy. The sound is decent, I have no issues there. My big problem is the base freezes up every other time you turn off your Xbox. Like, a hard lock up. Only way to fix it is to unplug the power to the base. It once took 6 resets to get it to even power on right. Working with support on it for the last several weeks, and they had a new firmware available. It's better, but not 100% better like a $300 headset should be. Now I turn on the Xbox and I can hear through them, but it's not showing up as a headset I'm the Xbox. Guess what fixes it? Yup, reboot again. A couple of times I'll not use the headphones at all and I see the "headset assigned" message pop up an hour into gaming when they're just sitting there charging. Support went downhill from there, the usual "reboot everything" or "don't put your Xbox in standby", but honestly that is so stupid. Why does a $300 pair of headphones work like crap when the last one I had that was $20 worked just fine? Wish I could buy that one again but it's not made anymore. Stay away, it's a waste of time and money. You'll only get yourself frustrated if you buy this
