Great sound quality, works good with Xbox series X. Comfortable for long periods of time. Also easy to switch between using on my lab top and Xbox.

The headset itself is great. The problem comes with charging it on the dock. It’s hit or miss whether it’s charging and there’s a lot of times when I think it’s charging and I come back to a dead headset.

I've owned and used this headset for 2 days now, and it will be going back to the store. I really thought this headset was going to be the one, non invasive software that you only run when you want to update settings, that's an absolute dream! Audio quality that's really good, build quality that feels solid and great battery life. So you may ask, why am I returning these? Well this headset has an audio cut out issue, that as much as I've researched, I've never found a solid resolution for, I've spent around 3 hours just SEARCHING for one, every thread that's mentioned it, and Astro starts troubleshooting with stops with a dead end, either Astro or the other party has stopped responding. To explain what's happening intermittently the audio will cut out for 1-2 seconds, the base station won't show any signs of this, it will just sit there happily displaying battery status, Dolby status, and equalizer status. This from what I've researched can happen with varying amounts of severity, some have reported it happening multiple times per hour, others have reported it happening once per month. Myself I had it happen once the night I got them which I chalked up to being a fluke and then last night it happened 4 times in an hour then didn't happen the rest of the night. On top of that, while the sound quality might be great, the mic on this thing is just TRASH and is locked to some low quality 16Khz in window settings, they try to explain this away by saying other brands mics are only 16Khz as well but from what I've heard other brands mics sound 100x better for a quarter of the cost!

I know they are expensive but I have a pair that are 5 years old they last they sound awesome and by the time you spend money on other headphones like turtle beach or some other brand with 1 purchase your done for 4 to 5 years if you take care of them they are worth every penny

I boight them and truly have enjoyed them. The game sound is amazing. They arent soundproof, just if your looking for some that are. But they have surround sound in them. The only issue i’ve even had with them is they have some issues when it comes to connecting but that may just be my set up. Lol. Overall i love them.

Way better than steel series pro. Make sure to do a firmware update while using with ps5 to use it to its full capability. This system kicks, and holds a charge for 18 hours when bran new and charged properly. Amazing, update boosted loudness and boost by almost 30%

This gaming head set is the best , I have ever owned. The sound quality is excellent and the battery life is awesome. I would recommend you buy.

Sound is awesome on these. My only complaint is that the A50’s will not charge on the base station while PS5 is in rest mode. Research says it is a Sony issue that will be addressed in an update. But again the sound is super immersive and the headset is comfortable.

Pretty decent headset. Great sound but there may be compatibility issues with console. There’s a repeated beep and skip sound that happens from time to time

These headphones are really fricken awesome. Love the sound and the ease of use for these headphones. They come at a costly price without the “upgrades”. You’re spending the money on them already they should just give the upgrades in the package regardless. The second “bad” thing would be the headband. You can replace the head band, again it would be an upgrade but for players like myself I need to be able to play with one ear muff half way on. The A40s headband broke on me, same design. Just wish I didn’t have to worry about it on my A50s.

The best gaming headsets on the market. Consistency is the one word I can describe the Astro brand. The A50's are the bar for gaming when it comes to a wireless headset. The convenience of the charging dock and the Astro app to tweak the settings are above top notch.

Absolutely love these headphones. I've owned quit a few different headphones but finally made this one my go to 24/7. Cuts out background noise, comfortable fit, loud, easy to adjust. The quality and value is great!!

It is heavy to wear and it connects instantly when I don’t want it to so I have to go to my settings to change the output from my headset to my tv and it is very pricey, but overall it is a great headset to use for games.

I made the switch from console to PC for gaming, eliminating the need for an Xbox. I wanted something that works with Dolby Atmos audio, as my surround system at home is a 5.1.4 setup via sound bar. This headset was the first listed on the Dolby site for compatibility with Atmos audio. Having no need for the Xbox specific base, I bought the PS4 version of this headset to allow for compatibility with a PS5 when I'm able to get one. So far, with PC usage, this headset is absolutely amazing. It took a little while to get setup properly, but since then, it's been a breeze. The surround sound works incredibly well, and the height audio fully immerses you. The deep bass rumbles throughout, but never overpowers the vocal audio to where you can't understand characters in games. There's a reason this thing is so expensive, but it's totally worth the cost for the incredible quality it possesses.

Great headphones even if they are a bit on the expensive side. That being said, I did have some problems with these on Xbox. ( Sound cutting out, and the base not registering when plugged it) Your going to have to plug the base into a PC and download the software and upgrade the firmware. Really easy to do, but if you don't have a PC its going to be impossible to update the firmware. After I updated the firmware all the issues I had were resolved.

This headset is so comfortable on my head and its so loud compared to snything ive used before.

I bought this from my son for Christmas based on the recommendation of a Best Buy sales associate. I knew nothing about gamer headsets prior to this purchase. I just asked what was on of the best gamer headsets available and the Astro A-50 is what he recommended. I have since done some further research on the internet and the Astro A-50 is highly touted as one of the best wireless gamer headsets on the market. My son seems to enjoy the headset. He uses them daily. The set up was fairly simple. The price seems a little steep. I'd recommend these.
