They definitely do not sound as good with Windows Sonic. Otherwise, everything about them is amazing, with the possible exception of the mic. I've had people tell me they can hear my game over the built-in mic and haven't been able to figure out why

Bass is great for movie watching and music. I wish I could connect it to my phone, but I knew I wouldnt be able to. I would use these over my bose headphones I use for music.

Excellent quality and very durable. All this however does come at a premium price, I did have the 1st gen of this headset that lasted me 4years and was still working but decided to part with it and upgrade, so I will say it is worth every penny.

Turtle Beach 700 is better

Great sound quality don’t get me wrong but the mixing controls for voice vs game volume are not nearly as good as the TB700.And the TB700 costed me half the money. The way the Astro mixes sound and voice it’s easy to accidentally mute your party or accidentally mute your game without knowing it. The TB700 lasted me 23 months before the volume control knob gave out. Probably from dust and cat hair.
