It is a lot heavier than I thought it would be and has only a little leveling adjustment so you need to mount it very level to begin with.

It is VERY over engineered for a 40" tv. Consider getting something smaller if you have a 40" or close tv. I installed it into plaster and nothing is going to separate from this wall. This unit adjusts very little up and down. Also, when you screw the plate into the wall, first mark the top 2 holes using the template, drill these 2 holes, then screw in and level the wall plate using the top 2 screws, then mark, drill, and screw in the bottom two screws.

This particular TV wall mount features a long extension from the wall when needed. It is perfect for outdoor living TV cubby's where a deep reach is required. Relatively easy to install with some planning. Very durable and easily supports common TVs. I highly recommend this TV Wall Mount and I'm very happy we purchased this particular device.
