    Worth the price!

In 2020, I purchased a $25 keyboard that just stopped working. This one is high quality and to me is worth the price. I love that you don’t have to plug in a USB, it just connects through WiFi (although it does come with a USB drive for backup). Very quiet and smooth typing. I would recommend.

I own the Logitech Craft keyboard and have been using it for quite some time at work. I love how solid it feels and was hoping they would make a more simplified version for home. Violà, the MX Keys is here... It takes the solid feel/construction of the Craft and removes all the extra app specific functions and touch wheel that aren't needed for my home setup. I like it's construction, the button feel is great, the illumination is fantastic and it takes up very little desktop space. It replaced my iMac Pro slate extended keyboard because I really like the button feel better on the MX. So far, I'm very happy with the keyboard and based on it's construction, it looks like it should hold up to a lot of use over time. Plus, I've recommended it to a couple of co-workers and they seem pleased as well. Nice going Logitech.

      Hello,
I am sorry that you have experienced an issue with the number pad on your MX Keys keyboard, I would like to help. I am not sure of what troubleshooting steps you have tried thus far. If you have not done so, please check to see if the “Number pad Lock” is on or off. The key just above the number 7 controls this setting. I also recommend downloading the Logitech Options software to have the best experience on a computer with options for customization. I have attached a link below with the “getting started” guides. The downloads tab has a download for “Options”. If you are connected via USB, I would also run the “Firmware Update Tool” to ensure the USB receiver has the latest updates. This is available on the support page as well, under the “Downloads” header. I hope this will resolve the issue that you have experienced. Please contact Logitech support if you need further assistance.

    It outlasts Toaster Strudel frosting!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This keyboard is utterly amazing! I've had it about 2 or 3 years I'm guessing. Today, I dropped a warm, frosted toaster strudel upside down, right in middle of the keyboard. The frosting instantly ran into the openings behind the keys. I figured the keyboard was already completely shot so nothing to be lost by running it under the faucet. Switched the keyboard off and turned on the warm water to full pressure through the keyboard to clear out the frosting as best as I could for about 10-15 mins or so. We're talking full submersion under high flow faucet! Then set it outside in the sun for a couple hours to dry. Checked back again and the keyboard was perfectly fine. No sticking keys or anything. Powered up the keyboard and reconnected and I’m back in service. No issues whatsoever. Very pleased with the durability of this MX keyboard!

I work from home and switched this to my everyday keyboard and I have to say that aside from being better than my last, this is one I am happy to have. Even aggressive typing is quieted with this keyboard and the features make this something I am grateful to have for everyday use. When you type for 8+ hours a day your keyboard really matters and I can honestly say, this is one I'm going to stick with.

I didn't really need a keyboard, but this one seemed really sweet. Can connect via the USB dongle and/or Bluetooth. AND to up to 3 devices which is really handy for my home Mac Mini, work laptop and Macbook. Easy to switch with the touch of a button. Backlit keys are really accurate and comfortable too. No keystroke misses and responsive for my use. Pricey but recommended!

    Keyboard is a Keeper

BEST keyboard I have ever used in 60 years! Smooth keys with great feel and travel. The auto backlighting is perfect. I have a Windows laptop using Bluetooth and a Mac Mini using the USB stub connected to the keyboard. Set up is very easy by following the boxes inside the lid's diagram. The included printed material gives no significant information. The only keys I can not figure out how to use are the two brightness keys on the top row next to the Esc key. I assume it is for the display (I have a new LG 24" FHD monitor I bought from Best Buy), but nothing happens when I press those keys. No big deal since the default settings on the monitor work for me.

I bought this keyboard for work, and I am very happy with it. The build quality is sturdy. The keys are comfortable and quiet. The illumination is useful in a dark room. The design is pleasing and modern, and nicely matches my Logitech M550 L mouse. Battery life is quite good, but you can use it while plugged in if you want. It works fine in Windows 7, which is good for me because I am stuck on that OS at work. My only complaint is that the illumination does not work when the keyboard is plugged in.

    easy set up, solid keys

Design: standard keyboard layout with the expected shortcut buttons and function buttons. Matte black in color, and has a smooth texture which feels nice to the touch. Keys have molded indents which feel natural. Furthermore, metal build gives the whole keyboard some nice heft and solid feel. No flex or give in the board at all Typing: this was unexpected. When testing the depth of the keystrokes, it felt like the mechanism was too shallow. Not as much travel as I'd gotten used to from my usual keyboard, which has mechanical keys. No click. But that's the point, this keyboard isn't meant to be a clicky gaming mechanical keyboard, it's sleek and has silent keys. Seriously, zero noise. Setup: has a small dongle to plug into your USB slot, but a nice feature is you can configure mutliple logitech devices to the same dongle, saving USB slots Overall: does exactly what it's designed to be, quite well. I still think the key switches could have a few mm of more travel to feel more traditional, but I didn't notice any errors over my normal while typing.

Solid and High Quality Wireless Keyboard

I love this keyboard - it’s wireless and illuminates, what else can I ask for? It came fully charged, so that was nice to be able to start using right out of the box. It’s a very solid keyboard made with high quality parts, so I can type away (and play my games intensely) as long as my heart contents!

Great feel keyboard, and give it a five, even though it has a noticeable delay in turning on backlighting of keys, until hands are hovered above them for a second or two.

    Make Typing Great Again

This keyboard is amazing!!! At first, it took me a few hours to adjust as it's longer than the other Logitech keyboard I was using. But on the 2nd day using, I feel passionate for typing again. I wish they had a version without the numpad as I don't use that often, but it's still a great option if you are looking for something higher end that's not those clicky mechanical gaming keyboards. It feels a little like something between the MacBook Pro and Lenovo smiley keys keyboards. Great typing experience. Normally I don't review things but this one deserved.

    Best keyboard

I have used a lot of keyboards. One of the best for me was the Microsoft surface keyboard and the designer keyboard. However, both of these had connectivity issues. This keyboard feels even more premium, solid, and they keys feel much better. Additionally, there is no disconnect issues at all thanks to the dongle unifying receiver. The included software is brilliant too, it allows for customization of every key and much more. I bought this along with the MX Master 3 Mouse and have been absolutely loving it. I am not a gamer but do a lot of work on my PC where precision is important, these tools have improved my productivity.

This keyboard is very simple, and not as ergonomic as others, but I like the soft touch of the keyboard. I also like the back lighting but it does go on and off depending on how close your hand is so that was strange getting used to. Overall though, this has become my second favorite keyboard to use with my desktop for everyday work. It also is nice that the Logitech software lets you combine wireless devices and that you can make adjustments for function keys.

Excellent and a must for all-day typing

So I’m not one to write reviews or brag about a product but this keyboard has made my job much more easier, efficient and comfortable. My job requires an insurmountable amount of typing and I was using the K750 and fell accustomed to the keys on that keyboard, which my girlfriend commandeered for her job so I was out a keyboard and decided to pick this one up instead. I’m not one for the clicking and clacking of the keyboard and that irritates me. When I connected this bad boy and got to work, the satisfaction was unmatched. It’s super quiet (almost silent), feels great to touch, comfortable to typing all day without fatigue, and very sleek and can fit into any standard 15.6 laptop backpack. The backlighting is a neat feature and a must if you work in low light conditions but not needed in my case. I love the customizable hot keys and the lock key for stepping away from the desk and lastly love that you can plug it in anytime for a charge while still being able to do your work. Another nifty feature is the ability to connect it to other devices around you for streamlined work and play and the build quality is great (albeit a little in the heavy side) by worth it. This is the keyboard for all-day typing and you won’t regret this purchase.
