Fantastic keyboard for both Mac and pc
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is amazing. Very customizable, quiet (which is important for me since I’m on a lot of zoom calls). Synchronizes seamlessly with my Mac and pc, and is very easy to charge.

Ideal keyboard - Logitech nailed it
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my job I spend a lot of time typing / at the computer. This keyboard is near perfection for me - it isn't super loud and obnoxious (looking at you mechanical keyboards), has great tactile feel (scissor switches like a nice laptop keyboard), is rechargable (usb-c cord to charge it) and believe it or not - is backlit. Being backlit surprised me - I thought it was useless until I had it - it is just - nice. It seems to light up at the right time, makes it easy to see and enjoyable. Like a nice laptop keyboard (like a Mac or Surface laptop or Thinkpad, etc)

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like all of the Logitechs that I have owned, I like this keyboard. Historically, I use the KV750 (the one with solar panels). This keyboard has the same solid keys that give a good response for a fast typer. What I like more about this keyboard is the feet are solid rather and fold out. I am hard on keyboards, especially when frustrated with something, and the legs always end up snapping. This one doens't have anything to snap! The battery lasts about a week with heavy usage. Having the charger is much better than replacing batteries. If they add the solar charging to this keyboard, it would be perfect. I use this keyboard between two different computers and it switches easily and simply - very nice.

The key action is just about perfect! Solid build!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard replaced a Microsoft fingerprint ID keyboard that also has an aluminum body. The Logitech MX is clearly many notches above the previous Microsoft one I had. Why? Mainly because: 1. offers two methods of connection, bluetooth and regular usb transmitter. 2. The keyboard is backlit. The backlit function is really well thought out. 3. The most outstanding feature I feel are the dished keys combined with a wonderful amount of spring action to allow one to type quickly with as few errors as humanly possible. 4. The solid build on this keyboard makes me believe it will last a long time. 5. I have used this for several weeks now and it seems to be holding a charge well.

Outstanding keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first the shorter key travel threw me off, but now that I'm used to it, this keyboard is amazing. It's quiet, high quality(and heavy), and has a better connection than my previous wireless keyboard did, as I would occasionally get some input lag when typing. I use it at my desk at night often, so the backlight is great, it also turns on when you reach for it, not just when you type. It must have a sensor that can tell when your hands are close, and it just lights up. Only con is the price, and while it's expensive, it seems to be worth it, especially with the rechargeable battery. The only con is I couldn't justify the cost of the matching MX mouse.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this keyboard. The feel of the keys is responsive and comfortable to use. It is so quiet that even my blind husband cannot hear it! And it lights up behind the keys for use in the dark.

A Five-Star Replacement
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did it again.. I spilled coffee on my favorite Logitech keyboard, a K800 with backlit keys. I thought I could simply order another one but I was dismayed to learn that it was discontinued. So I had to go in search of a replacement keyboard that had the same key configuration and backlit keys. I am a night owl and work late into the evening so the backlit keys are essential for me. I am a loyal Logitech customer so I limited my search to keyboards they had available. And the MX Keys keyboard ended up at the top of my list. My shopping process for something like a keyboard is to do my searching online and then go to see it and try it out in person. I am very fussy about how the keys feel and react to the touch. Fortunately, my local Best Buy had a special MX Keys display so I could try it out. The configuration is identical to my K800 because they are both Logitech products. And I really liked the low profile of the keys. They have a laptop-like touch but are shaped to fit your fingertips. I wasn't sure I would like that but after using this keyboard for about a month, I'm not so sure the K800 is my favorite keyboard anymore. Another thing I like about this keyboard is the small footprint. I have a small workspace so the MX Keys keyboard takes up much less space than the K800, which had a wrist-rest extension built into the front. There is a wrist rest available for the MX Keys keyboard. The other thing that surprised me is the weight of the MS Keys keyboard. It is heavy! it weighs 1 lb 12 oz! It is super solid and stays in place. But if you have to move it, it's not easy to pick it up with one hand. Another feature that I won't be using because I don't have a MAC is the Mac compatibility. And one more feature that seems pretty convenient but I haven't tried yet.., this keyboard can easily switch between three different devices. There are three function keys for three devices are located above the insert-home-page up keys. So, although I was sure I was going to miss my K800, I am finding that I haven't thought about it much lately.

This is the perfect keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Logitech MX is a night and day difference compared to any keyboard I've had before at home or work. It is solid and does not move, the keys are smooth and silent and the drivers and SW are super easy to configure and customize. When typing I almost don't even realize there is a keyboard under my fingers, its interface is seamless for typing, which is perfect. Logitech has obviously spent years slowly figuring out the best layout and I think they've found it. Just get this you won't regret it.

Great Product - on my 3rd one
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On my 3rd keyboard and I still love it. Looks sleek, types well, decent battery life. Had some trouble with keys popping out and the key holder brackets breaking but that was due to transporting it in a bag.

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit skeptical with the keyboard due to the price tag; however, I've come to enjoy it. The keys have a good feeling to them. The sound is very low, so it won't make a lot of noise which is a good thing if you work in an office. Aside from the price tag, I don't like that you can't adjust the height.

Good multi-platform business keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard to replace a "cheap" Logitech unit that was becoming uncomfortable to type with. Immediately after removing it from the box, it was a 100+% increase in premium feel. The top isn't metal like the often-white keyboard it imitates, but it's very heavy and solid feeling. There's very little (if any) deck flex and I can type on it for hours without getting fatigued. The keycaps are a little odd, being dished instead of flat, but I got used to it fairly quickly and have no qualms about that feature. The keypresses are light, yet firm enough to where resting your fingers on them won't depress them down. Typing is quiet despite the ever-present feedback the keys give you. It's no mechanical unit, but it's great nevertheless. The wireless is great, I personally use it with the 2.4G dongle but the bluetooth pairing seems easy enough. I was able to follow along the instructions to get it to show up in my BT devices but decided that the dongle was much easier to work with. Plug'n'play and all that. At first I used the keyboard with Linux (Fedora 34, to be exact) and while the Logitech software is not available for that platform, the program `Solaar` worked perfectly and was able to report battery usage (albeit in the form of "good" and "low" but that's better than nothing!). Obviously configuring things was lacking some features with that software being open source, but again, better than nothing. Upon switching to an M1 Mac mini, the software was MUCH better. All of the macros could be assigned and a bunch of settings could be changed. I was honestly surprised how well the keyboard can switch between Mac, Linux, and Windows. Having 3 profiles is cool too, but not sure how exactly it can be paired with 3 devices at once. I'm sure it's in the manual somewhere. Battery life is really good, I've charged it probably only 3 times since I got it a few months back. USB-C is nice, since that's what everything else is going to now that means you can charge it with whatever charger you want. Overall, great keyboard for the price. Only way you can get a better wireless keyboard is to spend more money!

MX Keyboard Review with Mac Studio comments
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is great. I love the feel of the keys. Most Important I find the backlighting the biggest feature. The inclusion of backlighting on Logi keyboards keeps me using them over the Apple Keyboards. The Mac Studio M1 Max machine is a beast. I am running Mac OS playing 4k Apple TV video and playing a racing game in Apple Arcade. This in Parallel(s) to a Windows 11 Virtual Machine running the DIRT video game in Steam while steaming 4k Video on Youtube in Microsoft Edge. While this is going on I am running a Fedora Linux Virtual machine streaming 4k YouTube video in Firefox browser while running a SNES emulator playing Super Mario Kart. Granted you can't simultaneously play 3 games at once but at any point I could mouse over to any of the games. Click into the window to bring that game to the forefront and resume playing with the Bluetooth connected PS4 controller. With all of this going on I saw no blips in ANY rendered windows. I had 2 monitors hooked up so I could see all items running simultaneous in Mac OS and Windows. I had to swipe over to the Linux screen to see that performance. EVERYTHING ran smooth as butter and ready for this >> using 34-48 % CPU, 25GB of 32GB of Memory (Windows VM used 11GB). My system monitor showed 125 degrees (F) across all cores. Energy used was 25 watts! An equivalent Intel based iMac Machine running half of what I was running tonight would have been spinning all fans at full power and bogging down. During my tests the RPMs were reported at 1300 RPMs and I don’t hear a thing. Hats off to Apple and their design of Apple Silicon. Now if their Software Team could deliver at the level that the Hardware team does then Apple would be untouchable.
