Comfy yet lacks sound quality

Honestly Im pretty disappointed with how they sound. I am an audio engineer by trade so please understand I am speaking thru that lense. I owed the the standard $50 Xbox pair and loved they way they sounded however my dog chewed them up (doh) I do really like the way that they feel
