I have these both at my office in my house and find them to be invaluable. There are so many things that can be accomplished with these devices such as instant access to weather, video chatting with other Show devices, instant access to news and news briefs, etc.

I have enjoyed the Amazon Echo products, putting one in each room and linking them to about 50 smart devices. I bought the Show because of a sale and because I wanted the possibility of seeing who was at the front door (linked Blink camera) while I was cooking. What I wasn't aware of was that I can watch YouTube cooking videos while I'm cooking those recipes, that I can see the weather forecast, rotate my favorite pictures, do video calls and share pictures to similarly equipped friends and family members and scroll through my grocery list before getting Alexa to print it. It has worked so well that I bought one for my 95-yr-old mother (the purchase date shown here) linking her children and grandchildren to her unit. It is better than FaceTime or Zoom for a call, because it doesn't require my mother to touch or swipe anything to accept the call. And all of us can share pictures with her that play like a slideshow for her. She enjoys seeing the latest family photos. I have two complaints: one is that interacting with it is not very intuitive. Some functions are controlled by the app, some are controlled on the Show itself, and some require coordination between the two. It's hard to find instructions from Amazon or online that are clear, since there have apparently been several software updates. Secondly, like all of my Echo devices, I have to restart the Echo Show about once every 3-4 days, or otherwise the Alexa response time is slow to non-existent, particularly with smart home functions.

Perfect for yet another place to put this Show 8" Display. Gave this to my daughter-in-law. Turns out she had one already, BUT she was delighted because now she can take this one to her room (she has 5 children) and watch whatever she wants on line without interruptions.

The sound quality and picture are superb. Had the Echo Show previously, and the upgrade is well worth the price. Thought the screen orientation would be bothersome, but it really works well if you walk around the room and want to have the screen easy to see.

Upgraded to this from an older gen echo 5. Debated on this vs the newer generation which was double in price. Couldn't be happier with it. It is so much easier to see my ring camera activity on the bigger screen also vs the 5.

Love it. We have the 5-inch Echo Show and it was really nice but we have since found that having the eighth inch screen is even better. When you've connected it with the ring doorbell it's much nicer to see a larger picture when you answer the doorbell on the Echo Show 8 in.

We enjoy this product. We have a beach condo that we rent through VRBO. We can tell the Show to play The Beach Boys. Guests arrive and get into the beach mood right away. We also display photos and our website to promote return visits.

I bought 3 for my kids after I bought 1 for myself. It is great! The picture quality is amazing and the kids and grandchildren loved it. You can listen to music, save to favorites list Alexa can even show your recipes step by step. You can save all your recipes as well.

The show is easy to. use and so much fun. I bought one for me and another for my daughter and now I can easily keep in touch with her and the grandkids. I can control my lights and ring security through Alexa and always have music and information an Alexa away. I don't know how I lived without it.

I wasn't sure what to really expect when I purchased this but I love it. The sound is great and quality is as well. I mostly use this for music and watching videos. I wish that it did have the option to be wireless. Also, would be amazing if you could download other apps.

During the time of isolation, this is a nice tool to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. It will also be a nice device when things are not so isolated. Since it is an Echo device, all the regular advantages of an Echo are present along with some nice video upgrades. Worth the price.

This device does everything I’m supposed to do except I don’t feel that it listens as well as an Echo Dot does I can get the echo dot in my other room to respond quicker than this one right in front of me But it’s full function and great otherwise

I love this Amazon Show. I have the echo dot and it has limited use, but the show has many more uses. Alarm, music, weather, phone calls on and on. If you have someone else with one you can do many more things. Paired with Amazon prime it will perform many tasks. ..........

As an owner of one of the first Echo Dots, this is my first Echo Show and now I can see the big benefit of these devices. Besides the audio that only the Dot can do, you can now get video. This adds many more functionalities. Definitely a good purchase!

This was an upgrade from a first generation Echo Show. Way better sound, screen resolution, and design. I just wish Amazon would offer the option of all the clock faces like on the Show 5.

Had an echo show 5 and bought this size as it was on sale. Love it - use it like any regular echo but I like that I can monitor my cameras and my doorbell. To me it is like when I bought my first flat screen. It was 32 inches but you can and always end up going bigger.

Easy to set up. Great picture. Significant upgrade from the original Echo Show. Just wish I bought the 10" version.

We were able to give away our CD player and hundreds of CD's because the Echo Show has EVERYTHING in its memory bank. The sound quality is excellent. I love the fact that I can see the lyrics on the screen and sing along to songs I could never really make out before. Five star plus.

Great smart display. Can't beat the value (especially when on sale). The sound is awesome, better than the 3rd Gen dot and way better than the 4th gen dot. The smart home interface on these is still a work in progress but it works and I'm sure will improve with time.

I have one in my kitchen window and look at it every time I go into the kitchen, cook and wash dishes. I tell it what I need added to my shopping list and look to it for outside temp and time and ask it for recopies and music as i work. I have now gotten one for each of my adult kids.
