Will work but small
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the electric aspect but the same as the dryer, Bought and returned. These units truly are meant for a single person, maybe two for space saving purposes. Perfect for an apartment but if you need a family unit, this will not do it.

Great product, terrible delivery and install
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product has worked amazingly. However, I can't emphasize enough how much you should buy this washer/dryer set from anyone other than Best Buy. It took over 6 weeks, multiple calls on hold, lies from Geek Squad installers, damage to my home, and I ultimately had to pay money out of pocket to get other contractors to complete this work. Do not purchase here.

Do not buy LG - Do not by this Dryer - doesn't dry
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dryer worked for about 6 months, then would cycle off and on. Within 1 year warranty period called LG Customer Support. They would not help me. After 2 months of trying I broke down and had to buy a Samsung. This was a brand new dryer under warranty and LG would not help fix and/or replace.

Posted .Hi, Amy. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Dryer (DLHC1455W) model. We understand your concern about a new appliance that doesn't perform as expected, especially within the warranty period. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products and ensure a smooth experience. If your dryer is cycling off and on unexpectedly, a good tip is to check if the exhaust duct is blocked and that the room temperature is in the recommended range, since that can affect how ventless models like yours perform. Make sure you get long-term insurance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this one as a replacement for same model which lasted only 2-years. I stayed with this model only because it is stacked on a LG washer/

Piece of Trash
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Takes forever to dry clothes and if automatic cycle is used, stops before they are dry. Drying on manual cycle is then necessary. Consumer Reports warned that the product was mediocre but we had little choice. Matching washer is a disaster.

Great Little Dryer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very durable and compact. Moved to a new home and purchased to fit in a smaller space…. And have yet to be dissappointed. Highly recommend.

Decent compact dryer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've yet to find a "great" compact dryer, so this review and score is relative to compact dryers (so don't compare to standard sizes). It gets the job done, it just takes time. Biggest issue is cycle time. Most loads take ~1 1/2 hours, with towels, sheets, etc taking more time. This unit is ventless, which also means there is some heat. It can also be on the noisy side. If you can fit a bigger machine, I'd recommend it. If you have a small space, then this will get the job done. It was a replacement for an LG compact washer that broke shortly after the warranty ended.

Taking my clothes to the laundromat. Thanks LG.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Useless. I had a 20-year-old stacked washer and dryer that I got rid of to buy this useless dryer. The old one did a much better job and I regret spending money on this dryer that does not dry. Yes, I've had the geek squad out. "Working fine ma'am." I don't know if it's because it's ventless or what, but it takes hours HOURS to get a load near dry - and that's it...NEAR dry - I then have to hang the items up and let them air dry for at least a day. Huge mistake. I am on my way to the laundromat while my brand new washer and dryer sit in my laundry room.

Buyer beware-Incorrect stacking kit info
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like others said here, the stacking kit was missing. Both LG and Best Buy were referring to the incorrect stacking kit 27" for a 24"washer/dryer. the incorrect part # is 4930EL3021A and 4930EL3023A. The CORRECT part # is 5001EL2001H, that includes the hose with 2 little brackets. Some say it's included in the dryer, other say it's not, but the manual says that IT IS included. LG offered me to buy it as an optional accessory. Best Buy refuses to order it, sends me to the parts distributor or LG. I made multiple calls, endless frustration! 10/27 - received a delivery with stacking kit missing, installation rescheduled 10/27-Best Buy ordered an GE (yes, GE) stacking kit 10/30 - installers come with a GE stacking kit, DOESN'T fit, rescheduled 10/30 - call LG, I am told that the part # for stacking kit is the one above starting with 493 10/30 - I call Best Buy, they order the 493 part which is a NO GO as it's a completely different set up and is used for 27", not 24 inch 11/2 - call Best Buy asking to exchange the dryer hoping the new one will come with the kit as stated in the manual. The person exchanges the washer instead! grrr 11/3 - call Best Buy, give them the correct 5001 number, get sent to parts distributor and then to LG I waited to receive these for a month, now that they are delivered, but not hooked up, I have been without a washer/dryer for all this time. MANY MANY conversations with Best Buy, still unresolved. Worst experience ever. Zero stars

LOVE THIS DRYER!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this dryer! It makes so much sense to not be producing more hot air and sending it out into Florida's heat, especially when your dryer's exhaust is going out into the vicinity of your A/C unit. This dryer works so well and it's clear that it causes less wear and tear to your clothes than a conventional dryer.

Ventless dryer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time to use a ventless dryer and happy with it so far. No more vent cleaning! I stacked with a washer. It was great that the stacking kit was included in a dryer. I also reversed the dryer door to make it opens to the same direction with the washer. They fit perfectly to my laundry closet and gives extra storage room.
