Returned back to store.. does not pick up pet hair well and the suction was not very impressive. Have other shark products but this one is not on the same level.

Had to go over the same spot 8 or 9 times to remove dog hair from chair fabric. Battery would be dead before couch could be done. Really disappointed in shark ninja vacuums. Returning to try a different brand.

I don't like it at all it doesn't have much power.

I have had my share of shark handheld vacuums. I have warn out one pet pro 2 (model sv780) and am working on my second. I use it almost daily to clean up after my kids and just keep things tidy. I jumped at the opportunity to try this out. The pet pro really does well for the tasks I ask of it, so an updated version with lithium battery and tools, I was on board to test. I use the handheld vacuums to clean up crumb messes on my chairs, floors, touch up my stairs without pulling out my big vacuum, and in my vehicle between shop-vac uses. So, first of all, this vacuum is light, says 2.5lbs, but it doesn't feel like it. the size is slim and grip and angle to vacuum are comfortable. The tools are narrow, so I can use the power head on the vetrical sections of my stairs easily. The suction power is quite impressive, a far cry from the first black and Decker's I used in the late 80's, and is better than the pet pro 2. The power is consistent and I ran it from fresh charge to dead, and the power and suction was there until it wasn't, no fade. I lost track of time on it, but at least 15 to 20 minutes of vacuuming. I have one old chair that is feux suade and 2 cats that like to lay on it. The power head did an ok first pass on the hair, it does not tangle like the old bristle brush, but it also doesn't get the hair off the material as well. I used the brush attachment and that does the trick, though you do have to stop and pull the hair off the bristles at times to let it get sucked up. Emptying the dirt bin is quick, hold over a trash can and push the button, the flap opens and drops right out of the front. nice to not have to remove the whole cannister and dump and put back. You still can do that though and rinse the filter or the whole dust bin if needed. Two things that I see as a missed opportunity with this specific model are no stand for it to store the tools on and charge. My petpro 2 has a nice stand for the tools and the unit sits upright charging in it. this you just have laying on it's side with the cord plugged into it. Also I wish they still included a standard bristle power head with the no tangle. overall though this does what I need, great suction and power, I will give it 5 stars, but if I could do 4.5, that would be what I gave it because if not having a charging stand and storage for the tools. I don't know why they didn't. The price is a bit more than my old unit, but you do get a better vacuum with it. I do recommend this product.

Not great suction! I purchased this to utilize as a vacuum for our SUV. It struggled to pick up just normal dirt from the floor mats. Returning ASAP.

It fair because it does the work but the battery dies fast

Charge doesn’t last long. Easy to clean. Wish it had extended or longer hoses for hard to reach places.

If you have a stick vacuum (i.e. Dyson) that can double as a handheld, this vacuum might be overkill (unless you need another) but even though I have a stick vacuum I found this to be a welcome addition to my home. The biggest drawback is that there's no cradle. IN THE BOX You get the vacuum which is svelte and light (looks good) and several attachments, including a power brush, crevice tool and "drapery" tool (wider mouth with soft bristles on the end. And of course the charger. EASE OF USE Other than making sure it charges for the recommended 4-6 hours after purchase, it's as straightforward as you would expect. All of the buttons are a distinct yellow, so they are easy to find (other than the power button which rests on the top of the handle). But there's only two buttons other than power, and the one towards the front of the vacuum opens the dirt bin the other on the bottom opens up the device so you can clean the filter. PERFORMANCE and BATTERY LIFE This little guy packs a punch and it lasts a long time. You press the button and it stays on (vs. having to hold it to keep it on) which is nice. The power brush does a great job picking up my long hair cat's white fur on the couch. And it its "mouth" is wide enough to pick up most objects in your house (i.e. large pieces of food that my kids drop). The dust bin is clear so you can see when it's full, although it doesn't hold a lot, but that's really no big deal at all. Like I said, emptying the dust bin is super easy and makes no mess. I haven't had to clean the filter yet, but it doesn't seem to a big issue either. It's cloth, so when it gets dirty you just need to rinse it with water and let it air dry. All in all, a no frills, powerful handheld that's nice to have around for small jobs... but... ONE COMPLAINT My one complaint is the lack of a base station. Older models of shark vacuums (I had a black and purple one years ago, I don't remember the model) had a cheap piece of plastic that you could insert the power cable through to act as a charging station. And that piece of plastic held the accessories. This Shark vacuum desperately needs that. I prefer to keep mine on the wall, in a cradle that keeps it charged with the accessories. Small handheld vacuum accessories are tough to keep track of. Obviously this is a first world problem, but it's just easy to misplace everything. I would like to see everything in one place...on a wall. CONCLUSION Even without a charging cradle, I can't take a star off this vacuum. For the price, you are getting a solid performer with great battery life. And the power brush works magic with animal hair. I recommend it if you are in the market for a handheld vacuum for smaller jobs when you don't want to get the "big" one out.

Junk. Really wish I had opened and used this within the return period. Suction is absolutely terrible and attachments practically useless. Not at all what I have experienced with Shark products in the past.

Great to clean around but after using this product for a couple months, unfortunately now it doesn’t keep a charge

Does not get pet hair off of my fabric couch, good for small messes on hard surfaces

Suction power drastically declined after 6 uses! Would spit back out dust and debris while using.

Mine broke easily. Not impressed with the cleaning functionality either.

First I had to have a new charger shipped because it wouldn't charge It still did not work so they had to send a whole new unit. It does not suck well at all and I would not recommend purchasing this . I have always liked Shark products but not this.

Waste of money. I've bought shark products before this is the first disappointment.

My only problem is getting emptying the vacuum. It is so difficult to open the area for dirt that it spills when I finally muscle it open. It’s like a bag of chips that you pull too hard and it explodes open. So now I use it less than I wish.

Seems cool at first. Not worth the price. Average or below suction!

Great time saver when a quu k job needs to be done.
