Customers regard the IdeaPad Duet Chromebook favorably, particularly praising its ease of use, included keyboard, and excellent battery life. The device's value for the price and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. While some users mention limitations in the amount of RAM and the sound quality of the speakers, the overall user experience appears to be quite positive.

This is my first experience with a ChromeOS laptop/tablet. I love the quick boot times and how seamlessly it integrates Android apps from my phone. Keyboard takes some getting used to, but with it included in the price there is not much room to complain. Battery life is no issue as it has lasted 8-10 hours before needing to be recharged.

Been using a chrome book for the past 5 years. Decided to try something different. Very happy I did. First off, the screen is fantastic. Super bright, clear, crisp. You wont find a screen like this for this price. All the others start at 400$ Key board is a bit crowded on the ends, but youll get used to it. Very portable unit..easy to toss in the pack to get stuff done on the road. Touch pad feels and works very well. I added a small cordless mouse. The duet is supposed to run android apps. Keep in mind that if you use them, there are certain features that cant be turned off. For example, if you have gmail and you use the installed gmail app, your mail will be split into 2 screens. There is no icon anywhere to turn that feature off. Instead just use a gmail shortcut on your home google page after sign in. Gmall will then look like typical email lay out. This is true for youtube as well. Nothing wrong, just the layout is different. One draw back, and it isnt a deal breaker... only one port. You can get a hub to run usb, sd, etc. Keep in mind though the hub draws alot of battery power. Your run times may dump down to about 4 hours. Definitely get a hub that will charge the Duet at the same time. The hub should have a usb c charge input port. Even though its a tablet size screen, it doesnt "feel" small. My old trusty acer 11 was just a little bigger in screen size and I dont feel like I gave up much. I like the fact the Duet has small borders. If your in the market for a C'book, give this one a hard look.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Duet Chromebook. This sleek and light 2-in-1 Chromebook switches from business to fun as easily as it switches from laptop to tablet mode. Simply detach the plug-and-play keyboard, and you have an ultraportable 10.1-inch tablet ready to entertain you. In laptop mode, the typical size of laptop keyboard is comfortable and responsive, while the 400 nits FHD display is visually appealing in either mode. Enjoy thousands of apps from Google Play Store, superfast boot-up, more than 8 years of automatic updates, and USI stylus support. Get creative. Or get busy. Lenovo

I absolutely love my duet and if you have the right expectations it is amazing for the price. Probably not main computer material, as the keyboard is pretty small, but very handy to type out quick emails or do web browsing. Love that it comes with the keyboard. I bought the new lenovo usi stylus to use with it and an elastic band with a pen loop to put around the cover and it works great.

It's a great budget tablet with an OS that is getting more Tablet friendly with each big update. Keep in mind that to reach this price some decisions were made, meaning the display is very good but not excellent, the sound is a little tinny so you'll have to use headphones or external speakers to listen music or watch movies with a decent sound. But otherwise it's an excellent device for light and portable day to day usage that includes a decent keyboard and stand as part of the package.

I got this primarily for taking notes. It serves that purpose well. It's also small enough that I can then take it with me on the go if I want to study. I've used it for some light web browsing too and I tested out the speakers for music. The speakers leave a lot to be desired if you're listening to music, and the volume is a bit low even at the max level. But all things considered, this is a solid chromebook.

I am both an Apple and PC user and just upgraded from a 2-year old iPad to this Chromebook Duet. I love the 128 GB storage and integrated keyboard and case. This little guy is light and snappy - I do miss some of my iPad features like iMessage and my photos...but the reality is that I use this to watch YouTube and NetFlix (and my photos are synced with Google Photo) - which is where this outshines. The screen is great resolution and WiFI connection is solid/fast. Definitely recommend.

I’ve always been a huge fan of chromebooks. When I heard that the new chromebooks were getting updates for longer and I saw all the great reviews for this device, I couldn’t resist buying it when it was on sale for $229. So far it’s been a neat little device. The screen on it is just as great as my iPad and I like watching videos on it. The keyboard is decent and works when I need to type up something. All in all, I’d recommend it for anybody looking into a chromebook or Android tablet.

More of a tablet than a notebook. Yes, it has a keyboard which actually functions pretty well, but you probably would not want to use this everyday as a replacement for a regular laptop computer, but is functional for the occasional email and general use. As a tablet, it probably compares pretty well to the Amazon HD 10, with the added benefit on not being limited to the Amazon app store. The tablet is fast and responsive. The screen is very nice for something of this price.

The size and weight of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet is perfect for me. I like that it has the stand that you can use or take off if you don't want it. I like that it added all my chrome stuff without me having to download or transfer anything. I don't like the fact that I can't listen with earphones and have it plugged in at the same time. Over all, for the price, it's a great deal.

I'm giving this device 4 stars because it is an excellent value BUT like a lot of things in life, I'm betting the second version of this device will be a lot better. What it does well.... 1) Really nice screen 2) Incredible value given all the extras 3) Solid build quality 4) Nice integration of ChromeOS and AndroidOS What needs improvement.... 1) It needs a headphone jack. It's plenty thick enough and it's okay to be "brave" enough to continue giving people things that are useful 2) The keyboard. The cramped nature of the keys on the right side have a logic to them (they aren't used as much) but it's just really hard to type on this thing. 3) A better processor. The one in the machine isn't bad but it could be better. 4) A micro-sd card slot. Nope, there isn't one on this machine. 5) Two usb c ports (instead of one) 6) Go out to an 11.0" screen. It will make the device way more useful and it would then allow for a keyboard that you can actually type on. Again, I like the device. I think Lenovo did a good job but Duet 2.0 could become a really winner. Just remember the first Surface devices needed improvement and over time they got there. This concept can too!

Purchased one for my 6 year old son and one for my 10 year old daughter. They are primarily using them for virtual learning. Very user friendly, they both can operate without any assistance. Love the fact that my son can use as a tablet. They also play games on the device and can open several windows with it slowing down. The keyboard comes off pretty easily and my son has already broken the adapter to connect his headphones.
