You can also get an iPad 9th gen, however it does not come with a keyboard. The keyboard for the iPad costs $180.

My first tablet and it worked great. Did everything I wanted it to do. Cons: Keyboard not backlit. Wish I have thought of that on a dark airplane. The edges of the stand part that flips out in the back, were very uncomfortable for lap use for me (dug in). Had issue connecting airpods everytime I used them. Took a few attempts to connect but did connect with help from my teen lol.
