We use alot of ice at home. When i decided to by one my husband was completely against it mearly because of the price. We have had this machine a little over a year, it has been the best investment. All of our guests are envious!

It has issues with saying it needs water and it doesn't. The know it's an issue because they tell you how to fix it however they need to fix it before selling it to people.

Makes great ice but the unit is junk

It makes amazing ice, but within 3 weeks of plugging it in it started making these horrible screeching noises. It was just once every few days at a first and now it is almost constant. It puts itself in defrost mode at least once an hour and is so loud it’s hard to watch tv 20 feet away. I am calling Best Buy tomorrow to return it. We have barely had it a month, and it’s awful. Which is sad because I love the ice it makes. However, it was way too expensive to be this loud and screechy. Now I see so many people have had the same problems with just a couple of weeks after purchase.
