    I had read the previous reviews and purchased this ice maker 2 weeks ago. I turn it on in the morning and off at night so that I don't burn out the motor. So far so good.

    We got ours for a steal, and we absolutely love it. The smart updates are a bonus, but not necessary to enjoy it. Cleaning is a breeze as well

    I have purchased two of these machines. The ice is great when the machine works, however they barely make it to the end of the warranty period of 1 year. It stopped making ice and says it's in defrost mode after about 14 months. What a waste of $600! GE should be embarrassed to put their name on such an inferior product.

    The technicians were courteous and very competent. They diagnosed the problem with our surround system and we were up and running in 20 minutes.

    Makes good ice, not as soft as we had hoped but still better than a regular refrigerator ice maker. Every time we open the drawer it creates water that we have to wipe up which is rather annoying.

    Love this ice machine. Never thought I’ve would make the difference in the way water tastes, but this does!!! Water seems so much more refreshing! Highly recommend this machine!
