Unfortunately her last one developed a screen defect out of warranty, so hoping that doesn't happen here. Decided to try a new one instead of investing 800 in repair. Great for everyday use and cloud programs. We use our desktop for documents and when more storage will be needed.

Should last 10 years!

It still works, in fact, but is not supported for OS updates, so I traded it in for this new one. So far, this one is equally impressive. Looking forward to another 10 year run.

screen cracks possibly from built-in camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already had Apple repair this laptop for a screen crack once. The laptop unfortunately has a screen crack again just a few months later. As you can see in the picture, the area in the middle along the top of the screen has the camera. The cracks go from around the camera down the lower left hand side of the display. I suspect it is the camera which is somehow causing the screen to crack. This laptop has not been abused, but my family did use it frequently. I think a laptop should last more than one year. Maybe you will have better luck than me. Or maybe not. I cannot recommend this particular product because a cracked screen makes it mostly useless.

Pretty good laptop for college

Speed and excellent loading time for apps that I need up n running. Gets the job done for a full time college schedule. Definitely will help a lot until I am finished. Luckily I got this one on sale for $850
