I purchased 2 MacBook Airs for my children in college. They absolutely love them. They recently had another brand and had nothing but problems until one of them finally crashed after less than 2 years. The MacBook Air is very fast and does everything the kids could possibly want for college.

I love my new MacBook. It is an upgrade from the MacBook air I bought in 2015. I love the slim and light design. It is great for traveling and compact travel. I also love the color options.

Great laptop fast and easy to use and long lasting battery

It actually wasn't for me but I was with a friend and we used my rewards card. I did help the friend with the setup the same day. The camera quality was quite good and the user interface was too. (I think it's called launchpad or something like that). I've set up a few PCs before but this was my first time helping set up a Mac. We did run into one problem trying to set up an Apple account using iCloud. The friend is deaf so their "phone" is a videophone. The Mac wanted a phone number as part of the set up, so we gave the VP number - and never got a call through the video phone. Then we tried again, using my cell phone number. But my phone is a iPhone so it didn't allow that either. We gave up on setting up the apple ID. It did dawn on me later that if we set it up with a gmail or yahoo email we probably wouldn't have to go through the phone business. Will try that next time I see the friend. Like I said the MacBook Air was not for me. However if I ever do get a Mac I would definitely want a mouse. It didn't come with one but then most PCs don't come with a mouse either. I did notice it looks like there was only two USB ports - which should be plenty for the friend but I would find it a little limiting.

This is an amazing mac ! Very sleek and easy to carry very functional for everyday use . Has plenty of storage for video and pictures ! I’m very pleased with this mac i call it macky !! Lol

Excellent customer services and all questions answered. My MacBook Air works great. I went to the Apple Store and couldn’t afford to buy a brand new. Was able to afford a brand new MacBook from Bestbuy which had a deal at the time.

What a phenomenal value. A great travel computer. I prefer this M1 over my M2 because of the longer battery run time of the M1. This computer does everything well.

I had a 2013 MBA and decided to upgrade as I was having issues with streaming for class and my district could only provide a Samsung 11' Chromebook of the same age. While I'm kind of upset that the M2 redesign is coming, I can't say that this machine hasn't been great. There's always going to be newer/better just around the corner. Once they fixed the issue with Chrome I can say that this has been a beast for teaching from home/hybrid. If you need to get it and are not sure if you should wait, I don't think you'll be upset. If you're thinking of a MBP just in case, you don't need one unless you're doing something really fancy with some specialized software. This thing handles video uploads for lessons extremely well.
