Although I miss my iMac, I adde large monitor to ease the transition.

The new M1 processor is amazing! This MacBook is so fast and the screen quality is amazing. Amazing MacBook definitely 5 stars.

Good for the basics, nothing more

There are reviews out there that will tell you the M1 makes up for only 8gb of ram. Not the case. If you plan to to try to do anything other then surf the Internet and review some documents, you’ll want to set your sites on a higher end machine. Also, if you are someone who likes to close the laptop and run multiple screens, the Apple M1 does not support dual monitors, on any model.

Ive been using it for mostly school work and chatting. since it's a newer gen mac, a lot of applications do not work on it because they arent compatible so please look into that before buying
