While it does a good job of freshening up a carpet, it pushes cereal around the floor due to it running too low to the floor. There's no easy way to lean the unit off the floor a little bit without lifting the whole thing, and even if you do get the fruit loops cereal (for example), it'll jam up the machine either in the floor brush or at the entry to the collection bin. I don't recommend it for kids and pets or any relatively moderate cleanup. I received this unit for free as part of a Samsung appliance deal, and I'm very glad I didn't actually buy this, especially for how expensive it is.

You get about 15 minutes of good vaccuming or you have to hurry to get 3 large rooms. If you raise the suction level then you only get 1 and a half room.
