The battery is terrible. Tested out the max power setting and it lasted 10 minutes. Not worth the price of the item, wish I knew this in time to return it.

Context: I've got a couple years of experience now with cordless stick vacuums having tested a model from a well-known (often more expensive) leader in the industry. I liked it so much, I eventually bought 2 more for others/other uses. As such, when I first got the Samsung - Jet™ 70 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with Turbo Action Brush, I immediately went for the old TV informercial side-by-side test. Coffee grounds on the kitchen floor, side-by-side sofa cushions with cat hair, etc..- no difference! The Samsung - Jet™ 70 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with Turbo Action Brush held its own in all tests at a price that is $100 less than what I was comparing (at time of this writing, due to a sale). Pros (similar to competition): - light - quiet - for my uses, holds a charge for days (small apt, regular spot vacs, weekly deeper cleans) - plenty of attachments for different jobs - convenient charger/storage system for motor and attachments Pros (advantages over competition): - 3 (vs. 2) power settings - can change power while vacuuming with one hand (competitor can change mid-job, but placement of switch requires two hands on the model I have) - removable roller in motorized head- BIG deal for those of us with long-haired individuals shedding around the house :) - the method of emptying the dustbin is less messy- the bin on the Samsung - Jet™ 70 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with Turbo Action Brush is gently removable for calm, dust-free emptying. All 3 of the competitor models I have employ a bin that remains attached and the act of opening the bin almost always creates a small dust cloud) Cons: - it seems a little louder (especially in MAX setting), but this is all relative as they're both much quieter than every traditional upright I've used throughout the years All in all an excellent competitor in the cordless stick vacuum arena!!

I absolutely love this vacuum. I never thought I’d love another vacuum more than my Dyson, but it’s happened. This cordless stick vacuum is a breeze to use. It’s incredibly light and effective. There are 3 speed settings that meet all your needs. When you turn it on, it comes on at the middle level which is perfect for most of my vacuuming on hard surfaces, but the max setting is perfect to clean rugs. Love the cordless feature. Vacuuming gets done SO much quicker when you’re not shooing away kittens and a one year old trying to chew on a cord or risking strangulation. None of those worries with this bad boy. The battery last for hours so you should be able to knock out any needed vacuuming before needing to charge again. It comes with charging station you can attach to the wall. I wasn’t sure I would use it at first but we did and it’s great. Makes it super easy to store and ensure it’s charged in between uses. If you prefer not to attach it to the wall, you can pop the battery off the back and drop it into the charging station on your counter or sit it on some other surface. My only concern was within the first couple days of using it, it stopped working. I was super disappointed, but with a few adjustments it was back to working just fine. The vacuum head rotates, but it seemed we try to rotate it too far to get into a hard to reach spot. I haven’t had any issues with it since and still highly recommend this vacuum. I’d just discourage anyone to go crazy thinking they can spin this thing into ridiculous places. It does rotate though so it works great under furniture. As long as you don’t do anything crazy, this is super effective and reliable.

horrible, does not hold a charge long. It is a quintessential useless cleaning tool and a waste of my hard-earned money.

I was sent a USED/DIRTY vacuum and request shipping label be sent to me so I can return this product but was told I have to come into store for this. In the middle of peak Christmas season and a pandemic I feel that this inconvenience should not fall back on me! Please send a return shipping label and a brand new vacuum as I paid for?

This is a very lightweight vacuum. Handy for use in tight spaces. It does come with a lot of pieces. It was different having to charge the battery before use instead of plug and go. It really picks up dirt out of carpet. Does a great job. Overall I am pleased with this vacuum, wasn’t expecting it to be so lighter and convenient.

Samsung appliances are the worst. Have owned a few different Samsung appliances, mostly due to price, and I think 3 out of 4 end up failing within a year. Just a lousy brand using cheap parts that don’t last. Stick with brands that excel in the kitchen and home, not a phone manufacturer trying to make a vacuum, or fridge, or dishwasher.

It does okay. Doesn't hold a charge for long at all. On high suction lasts for about 7 minutes.

Battery dead in 3months and Customercare so pathetic

I really wanted to love this vacuum, but it is lacking for me a little bit. Let me first say though, I am confident it does what it promises in terms of picking up a lot of pet hair and dust. I tried this vacuum on my tile floors, carpet, and two rugs. I had mixed results. First off, I get it, this is supposed to be a lightweight vacuum. Problem is, it’s top heavy. I know that’s common with stick vacuums, but it is especially noticeable with this one. With the filter and battery at the top combined with an exceptionally lightweight vacuum head, I found it tough to maneuver. You need a little bit of weight in the vacuum head so that it can effectively vacuum carpet. What ends up happening with this Samsung is when I go over carpet (or especially my rugs), it becomes HARD to push. I hate vacuuming to begin with and don’t want that much of a workout when I’m doing it! I want it to be quick, easy, and effective. I found I couldn’t even use the highest vacuum setting on my rugs because I could barely move it AND it drained the battery. Like I said, this thing sucks stuff up like crazy, so that’s why I didn’t take more stars off. I just think the bottom half should have a little more weight so that it’s easier to push across carpet. I also was excited about the mini attachment for using on my stairs. No cord and a mini head seemed perfect! The problem again though is the lack of weight of the vacuum. It was hard to push across the stairs and didn’t pick up as much dog fur as I would have hoped. Overall, this is a good little vacuum but if you have a lot of carpet, this might be a bit frustrating to use. I use it downstairs where I have mostly tile floors and like it for that. Plus, it does work on carpets and pick up quite a bit, it's just a bit of extra work.

This thing is fantastic and it's made vacuuming much easier. The setup for this is really simple and you'll be up and running in no time. Don't be put off by seeing all the parts. It's well explained and easy to do. We have 5 cats and two dogs but we predominantly use this in the room that houses the cat tree and where we feed them. This thing does a really good job. We do have to use the max setting mostly but that's because if the amount of pets we have (we used to rescue) Other rooms around the like our bedroom and my son's room we can use the normal setting and it does a great job. Being cordless is so nice and it makes it much quicker and easier to vac. I highly recommend this.

Was working perfectly broke after less than a year of having it

This is such a wast of money. I wish it would allow me to post a video of how useless this is!

Let’s stick I wish it would too hardwood floors but it’s mainly for carpet didn’t like it
