It's range depends on the mass (walls, trees etc) between you and this transceiver. It seems to work well in the house. You do have to down load a free app from ASUS to run this.

Excellent Bluetooth Adapter

The adapter is working really well with my Logitech bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The only issue I have with it is that I need to wait for a second or two before attempting to type on the keyboard. It seems there's a split second delay from when the keyboard connects and for the keyboard to be ready to accept input.
