The Xbox series X is the best console! I love the storage capacity. It’s really nice that it has a drive for games that you have purchased that aren’t online. It’s very easy to setup and connect to WiFi or hardwire it into your modem. I love the graphics with this system. Highly recommend!

⸻ The Xbox Series X is a powerful console for 4K gaming at 120FPS, with fast SSD storage and Xbox Game Pass access. The Series S is a smaller, more affordable option for 1440p gaming, also with Game Pass. Both are great for gamers, depending on your budget and performance needs.

Excellent console, it was easy to move from the old console to the new one. The graphics are very good, a great improvement in graphics. The console takes up less desk space and seems to blend well with the other equipment.

Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up because I've got some thrilling news for you all! I recently purchased the Microsoft Xbox Series X from Best Buy, and let me tell you, it was an experience that had me jumping for joy like a kangaroo on a trampoline! This little powerhouse of gaming goodness has blown my mind, and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you, John Oliver style! First things first, let's talk about the console itself. The Xbox Series X is a beast of a machine, a true masterpiece of engineering. With its sleek design and black monolith-like appearance, it demands attention and respect. And boy, does it deliver! The graphics are mind-blowing, the gameplay is smooth as butter, and the load times are faster than a cheetah on Red Bull. It's like having a ticket to the most immersive gaming experience in the universe! But it's not just the console that deserves a standing ovation. Best Buy, you sly devils, you really outdid yourselves with the service! From the moment I walked through those sliding doors, I was greeted by a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who guided me through the entire purchase process. They answered all my questions with a level of expertise that would make even the most seasoned gaming nerd blush. And when it came time to check out, they whisked me through the lines faster than a cheetah on... well, you get the idea. But wait, there's more! Best Buy didn't just stop at the purchase. They went the extra mile by offering me a warranty that could rival the indestructibility of Captain America's shield. I felt like a superhero knowing that my precious Xbox Series X was protected from any unforeseen mishaps. In conclusion, my friends, the Microsoft Xbox Series X from Best Buy is an absolute triumph. The console itself is a powerhouse of gaming goodness, delivering stunning visuals and mind-blowing gameplay. And let's not forget the impeccable service provided by the Best Buy team, who made the purchase process a breeze. I wholeheartedly give this product and service combo a resounding "Excellent!" rating. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some virtual worlds to conquer!

    Great Upgrade But Not Required

I used to play on a Xbox One S before I switched to the Xbox Series X. First things first, the quality and gameplay are a massive upgrade compared to the One S, everything feels smoother. Loading into a game is way faster, maybe 90% faster. I also noticed that my download speeds match my WiFi plan. I have a 500 mbps plan but on the S I would get around 250 whereas the X gives me around 450. Not sure if it’s just my console but my friend also had the same problem. Now to the cons you could say. The X is big so if your old console is in an area with little vertical height, good luck. I was going to put it where my old S went horizontally but it was to big. Another thing is that when you switch to the X, your games become X|S compatible, in order to achieve better load times and gameplay. The issue is that they have to be in the internal storage. Meaning your external storage device is almost completely unless. Now there are some games like Ark that can be played in the external storage but most games require internal storage to be playable. A semi work around would be to just transfer the games back and forth between the two storages has that’s much faster then uninstalling and reinstalling. My honest advice is if your running the Xbox One, you should think about upgrading but with the S you don’t have to as of right now. I really didn’t need to either but I had some cash saved up and decided to buy it. My S is still operating and in almost top condition. The loading time wasn’t really a deal breaker with my S. I play for my enjoyment, I’m don’t really care as much about the 4k, 120 Hz, and stuff like that. Honestly, I can barely tell the difference. If you made it this far, thank you and I hope you have come to a decision.

To keep it brief, this console is amazing. The last Xbox I had was the 360. I've always been a Playstation consumer, but the Xbox Series X has me really excited for Microsoft's future. I currently own the PS5 and it's a great console no doubt, but I feel as if the Xbox console itself is more premium in quality. The PS5 has a more premium controller while the Series X has a more premium console. I'm not really into the whole "Playstation is better" or "Xbox is better" debate. They are both awesome consoles but since getting the Series X, I have been enjoying it more than my PS5. Game Pass was a new concept for me. I know people who currently have Xbox One's have had Game Pass for a while, but it was amazing for me given I haven't had an Xbox since the 360. I can confidently say that Xbox is doing an amazing job with Game Pass. It is far better than Playstation Plus and the Playstation Plus premium package deals. Makes the Xbox actually feel like a gaming console rather than a pay a lot to play. One dollar for the first month of Game Pass, and then it's $15 a month to continue the subscription. I just canceled my Netflix and can say I've used Game Pass more than Netflix and I actually don't have all the time in the world to play games either. The insides of this console are incredible. I watched a teardown of both the Series X and the PS5. The Series X is much more impressive with the parts and pieces that are actually pretty pricey parts and it amazes me that they managed to keep the price at $500 still. If you're asking yourself, do I get a PS5 or a Series X. I would of course say get both, but given that Sony has been increasing the price of the PS5 and it is not as easy to come by, I would say get the Series X and don't stress about the PS5 right now. The Series X is much easier to get, the design of it in my opinion despite it being very minimalist, is actually nicer than the PS5 and it's a little smaller than it too, and you can finally enjoy next gen gaming without having scavenge for a PS5. Game Pass is great to have as well and with it you can play basically every new game, and has titles that start from the original Xbox all the way to Xbox One/Series XS. Also if you're like me and have a few Original Xbox games and Xbox 360 games, you can actually play them on your Series X because Microsoft actually made their console backwards compatible. If you've been more of a Playstation person I feel your hesitation, but this console is actually worth it. Not hating on Sony but I wish they had made their consoles backwards compatible like the Series X. But yeah if you're wanting to play next gen games, get the Series X and get the PS5 later when they come out with a Slim or Pro model. Overall I didn't expect to like it this much.

    I finally got one

After a couple of months of trolling Best Buy and *those other retailers*, I finally got one of these bad boys. My review will come from the perspective of upgrading from an Xbox One X rather than a flat review since there are so many of those. I want to talk more about the improvements I paid for rather than the services I already had. Pros 1. Everything loads vastly faster. I load into Destiny 2 faster than even my SSD-toting Xbox One X friends and games like Halo Wars 2 don't even load the full splash screen before it loads the main menu. It's definitely noticeable and it's very pleasant. 2. Games play much more consistently and with fewer frame drops. De-syncs in Halo Wars 2 were a big problem that I don't experience anymore. The only bit of frame dropping I've seen are loading screens on NHL 21 where the music robots out a bit while it's loading into a game. That's it. I have seen zero frame drops elsewhere. 3. Being able to play some games at 60FPS is wonderful. I don't play Destiny 2 on my PC anymore because I get the full FOV and 60FPS game play on a console. Many games still don't support 60FPS, but the ones that don't still get performance improvements as I described above. 4. The controller is better. The D-Pad is more clickly, the controller is more grippy, and the triggers are quieter and smoother. It's not insanely different, but it's more refined than the previous generation. 5. Auto HDR is a thing. It's kinda nice sometimes and, tbh, some games look better with auto HDR than other games do with built-in HDR (game developers haven't figured out HDR yet). 6. 4k/HDR/60FPS on a console is insane. I know, I know "PC with the right build blah blah", but I don't have to price shop Newegg for computer parts on sale and this is easier to set-up. 7. The mini-fridge aesthetic makes it easier to dust and keep clean. Plus, the skins market for this thing is amazing so far. 8. All my old Xbox One peripherals work. My wireless headset, my old controllers, and even my old Microsoft Play'n'Charge kit works in my new Xbox Series X controller. I didn't have to replace any of my existing peripherals to make this work, which I appreciaed. 9. I can still play and voice chat with all my Xbox One friends. 10. As of yet, I have experienced no outstanding issues that aren't already "known issues" by Microsoft (like my controller just stopped being recognized by the Series X and only a reboot fixed it, but MS knows about that and they're investigating). 11. It may be because my Xbox One X was ancient (I bought it on release day), but my Series X is so much quieter that it freaked me out at first. Going to what would usually be a "high fan" activity in a game and hearing nothing was really weird. Neutral 1. I did have to buy a new controller charging cable (USB-A to USB-C). The new controller is USB-C which is great because it's modern. However, many of my old peripherals still use Micro-USB so I bought a four pack of USB-C to Micro-USB adapters from *some other place* so I can use the same cable. It's a very, VERY minor annoyance, but something I wanted to mention. You may have to deal with the switch to USB-C controller connections. It's annoying because it's a change, but it's good because USB-C is better than Micro-USB. Cons 1. It's a box lol. This thing doesn't fit in my entertainment stand whatsoever and sits off on a (very sturdy) side table all on its own like a spoiled brat. That leaves me with an empty entertainment center with a TV on it lol. 2. If my Xbox does run into a problem that they can't fix with a repair at Microsoft, I have no idea how long it'll take a replacement to ship with all of the inventory shortages and issues. That makes me a little nervous as an early adopter, but, ynow, yolo, so I'll stress about it if it actually happens. 3. Finally, I'm a bit apprehensive about the top vent. It's massive and the holes are massive. I am concerned about long term dust issues. I don't want to tear it apart because I don't want to void the warranty, but I've heard that you're not supposed to place it on its side and I'd honestly feel a lot better if I could place this thing on its side. Overall, I love my Series X. This thing is powerful. It feels powerful. The box shape makes it easy to customize. The new controller feels modern and and like a more refined improvement over the previous generation. However, it still delivers that comfortable Xbox One style experience while also still feeling new somehow. Many of my games have FPS bumps and all of my games have performance improvements. I have had only one crash in nearly 2 months of ownership (and it was Destiny 2, which crashes all the time anyway), which isn't any better or worse than my Xbox One X. Compared to the crash issues PS5 owners are experiencing with with how massive an unwieldy the PS5 is, it blows my mind that people say that PS5 won this gen's console war. This thing makes me very happy.

I placed the order at the store. They told me they would have it there in 2 days. I said to lady it was my son's birthday as long as I have it by Sunday. I'll be good and the store. Had it on the day that she told me it would be there which was Thursday. I didn't have to stress. They contacted me. Via text message, it's working as it should. So for no issues thank you
