Bought this for my bedroom tv because the speakers on the TCL 40 inch tv I bought were the absolute worst I've ever heard. I had an AM radio when I was a kid that sounded better. The Insignia gives you full, rich deep tones and makes the dialogue alot easier to understand. The built in bass simulation was so good I didn't miss a subwoofer at all.

This is a standard product which performs the duties it says it does. Nothing special, but nothing bad to say. There is a noticeable difference to me, but I pick up on sound quality better than the average Joe. That said, if you have really poor audio on your TV, this is probably a step up, but nothing you couldn't live without.

Great little sound bar

Initially I was looking for a Samsung sound bar to match my new tv, however once I saw this sound bar which was discounted $50 off to $49.99, I immediately grabbed the last one after quickly reading the online reviews. At checkout I added a candy bar to get the discount (purchase had to be over $50) from the certificate, so I ended up getting the sound bar for only a couple of bucks!!! Once home, I was able to easily install the sound bar (on fireplace shelf, directly under the tv) and definitely noticed a huge difference in bass (especially w/o a separate bass unit) and overall sound quality. Highly recommend!

I also like how easily it connects to my tv (also an Insignia product) via Bluetooth. I hesitated for the longest time about whether it would be worth it to get a soundbar in the first place, but obviously I decided to get one after all-- no regrets!
