Nothing beats waking up to your alarm and instead of rolling over to hit the snooze you just say “Hey Google....snooze 10 minutes” turn off alarm with voice command, check the weather. If you don’t feel like rolling over or looking over your parter just ask the time. Game changer. Great purchase, great value for the $$$. The alarm that goes off is great, it doesn’t startle but definitely gets you up and gets you in the right mood to start the day off right.

Good smart alarm clock

Some drawbacks: Light doesn't dim as much as I like Alarm tone is not changeable No battery backup Light night is almost impossible to use Speakers isn't as good as a nest mini Setting up alarm via buttons is not intuitive, have to reference manual every time. If you can put up with the above, it's the perfect replacement for bedside alarm clock. I replaced both my alarm clock and nest mini that was next to my bed with this.

If you grow tired of the stock alarm sound you can set a music alarm to wake up to your favorite artist, station, news, podcast, or radio. Just say "Okay Google Set a Music Alarm" to get started. The nightlight can be turned off and on in one of two ways. First with the voice command, "Okay Google nightlight on/off". The second way is to press and hold the volume - button on top of the device for 3 seconds. No need to worry, in the event of a brief power outage, your set alarm information will be retained and the clock will atomically reset itself to the correct time when power is restored.
