I needed a new Hub in my home and wasn’t sure to go with screen or Dot. Let me tell you the Dot is so much better more efficient and so easy to hook up

Alexa is still a bit of a dummy but has become more responsive with this 4th Gen Echo. I still prefer Google Home for it's more intelligent responses and search ability, although after hearing Echo's deep rich sounds I had to buy another, They sync up effortlessly with each other playing with articulate left & right sounds. Link up with Echo Show5 as well as older echo dots is simple via the Alexa app. It has truly become an eco-system on three floors of our home.

Honestly, I left my girlfriend, bought this thing to set up my new room with a TV I also bought and it played YouTube visuals of a space man (4K Visuals, definitely recommend) and played music through this Alexa, brought this girl over and she played all her favorite songs when we were in bed and the thing BUMPS. This thing is so clean. Volume quality is clear and it’s loud enough to hide other sounds from your roommates because LOL it led to a good night. 10/10 lol

Very good sound and easy find songs I want. Only find somewhat difficult to pair it to the other Echo I already have at home.

Sound is noticeably better than the standard echo dot. It is surprisingly larger than the 4th gen dot

This has everything that the original Echo provided, but with the addition of the Zigbee hub and enhanced audio. With this upgrade, I have been able to add additional smart items to my home that were not really possible to being with. I also have additional control of the items that were already in place. It's an all around improvement to what was already a great device.

    Echo or Echo dot

I was debating whether to get the dot or the regular echo. I had the space for the regular echo and opted for it instead. Apart from size the only difference is the clock which was insignificant. If you have the space and the clock is not a deal breaker then I’d go with the regular echo. The sound is amazing. Cover the whole 2nd story. Alexa: Echo or echo dot?

Great sound, especially with 2 in the same room. The only problem I've encountered is keeping them in a "group". Every time I create a group, it works for a while and then I encounter an issue with "network error" and both won't play at the same time in sync. I have to reboot everything...modem, wireless router, both echos to get them paired together again. Frustrating. That's why I bought 2...so they would both play together for the stereo effect. I hope I thought I had resolved the issue...NOT.
