Got the order in on Nov 12. Received on Nov 19th from Best Buy. Did not open till Dec 25th. I have had every PlayStation console and purchased all of them on release day. This one is as good as they all say. Only negative is minimal games available in the PS5 format. Positive is that it is backward compatible. Graphics and load times are excellent compared to the PS4.

great system really worth it best system out there

This console was insanely difficult to get ahold of but was definitely worth it. The new haptic controller is beyond awesome and feels like the first meaningful innovation in console gaming in quite a while, it will be interesting to see how developers integrate it into future games. The system itself is massive so be sure you have a good amount of space for it.

PS5 is everything as advertised. Miles Morales and Demon Souls are great exclusives and our just the beginning of what Sony will have to offer. New dashboard to really make if feel Next-Gen. The new Dualsense controller with all its haptic feeback features make you really immerse yourself into the games you play. Great console with an exciting future ahead.

Great if you can get one. The new controller is very nice and packed with a lot of new tech. This is the first console I have ever positioned vertically because takes up so much room laying flat. The new super fast solid state drive is an amazing next gen feature that makes old systems feel so outdated now. Good luck to anyone still trying to get one.

This is my first gaming system in almost a decade (last one was a PS2). I usually play sports or racing games, so this is a great system for that. The biggest advantage the PS5 has over the XSX is the controller. The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback really makes the games more immersive. Definitely worth the money.

Best gift I bought for my self can get enough of it

It's the PS5. You'll lovr it. If you don't want to spend 1k+ on a halfway decent pc setup, this is definitely the way to go. The controller feels comfortable and the load times are fast. I do recommend you spend the extra for an expanded hard drive. If you play warzone it will eat up a huge chunk of space.

It’s not much to say about this item, it’s a PS5 and is literally one of the hardest purchases to make over the last 20 years because of low stock. I haven’t had a gaming system since 2004 back when I had a PS2 and that was stolen from my off campus apartment in college so it’s been over 16 years since I’ve purchased another system. This started off as a gift for myself to step into the latest gaming generation but quickly turned into a saga involving me losing multiple nights of sleep and devoting hours and then days of my life to make this one purchase for retail and not some absurd 3rd party resellers market. After scouring social media and setting up alerts I was finally in position to ready myself for the most vicious battle I’ve ever encountered and in the end I emerged victorious vs the bots that have had a stronghold on the PS5 stock since it’s debut in late 2020. I have 8 games to play with the system and all of the games look great on my tv and the system itself has performed as expected and has provided the entertainment quality that I had expected. Just finally being able to get something after so many months of trying is the main reason why I even decided to write this review.

It’s a behemoth simple put. Besides that it is a really amazing console. Just setting it up and downloading a few games for my son, I could really notice the download speed and performance upgrades. Does not run hot so far it has been running terratech in 4K hdr for about half hour. See picture. The Xbox one x would easily hit 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

Love this product very much! I've always been a Sony PlayStation fan and I'm extremely happy with the way the new consoles are evolving. The thing is a beast and very quite and very quick load times. the haptic feedback controllers are something I didn't know that I needed but they are something that everyone needs to try out. awesome tech. very stoked on the machine.

The Playstation 5 is truly a next-gen console and has been amazing to use so far. This was a huge upgrade for me, coming from a launch day PS4, and I can't imagine how much better it will get with more firmware updates. The load times are lightening fast, the graphics are beautiful, the menus are smooth and the games have been fantastic so far.

The PS5 is hands down the best gaming console to ever hit the market. The graphics of the PS5 are breath taking. You can see fine details and shadows and contrasts like never before on PlayStation products. The system is so FAST also! No long waits for a game to load up. The new controller is fantastic and really feels extremely high quality in the hands.

Really having a good time with the console so far. Really fast loading times, fantastic controller, and butter smooth framerates. It's not perfect though, I think the UI while aesthetically pleasing needs some work (too many steps to turn the console off for example). Also, the internal storage will fill up very quickly. Separate storage for PS4 games is recommended.

You gotta have it. PS5 is much much more powerful than PS4, not only the gaming performance, but the SSD makes the console so quiet. the Dualsense controller gives much detailed feedback, although I took a couple of plays to get used to the feedback. The only downside is that PS5 is huge, it really looks like a tower when you place it vertically.

Amazing system. Got it at launch and still runs amazing.
