Playstation is great the controllers and graphics are better as well other than that the console is pretty big and way more than the ps4

Outstanding machine. Was easy to get and runs so well. I recommend buying an external because the games do fill up the storage quickly.

The PS5 rocks!! The console is GIANT but very quiet. Games look incredible. Not only PS5 games, the PS5 is backward compatible and will make your PS4 games look good (some will even run at 60 FPS). I was debating between the PS5 and Xbox and went with the PS5 because I enjoy the Sony exclusive games like Uncharted, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Sackboy etc. I wish the ssd was bigger but later in the year you’ll be able to add more ssd(storage). For now, I’m able to at least store my PS4 games on an external HDD.

The PS5 has really improved its graphics and I can’t find any negatives at the moment except the difficulty of finding available ones

Love everything about the system. Load times are amazingly fast to non-existent. Controller haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are really something next gen. Love the backwards compatability and free upgrades that are being offered by Sony and other developers. My one and only complaint so far is the current lack of actual next gen games out at this point.

Good console. It's certainly an upgrade over the PS4 pro in terms of load times and fps on some games. I wouldn't feel rushed to get it, though, as long as PS4 games are still coming with free PS5 game upgrades. The overall gameplay experience between PS4 pro and PS5 isn't very noticeable yet. The new controllers are great with a more natural hand fit and vibration. Some of the buttons on the controller feel a little flimsy and I'm not sure if that's part of breaking the controller in, or a sign of poor design-but so far so good.

Love my ps5, the storage is a little small only around 800 gigs but now you can increase the size with an internal SSD.

My favorite playstation since the PS2. I've been an Xbox gamer almost exclusively since the 360 and this is the first console I've bought from Sony that I feel is a true competitor. The controller is the perfect balance of new and old. Feels like they took some touch components from mobile gaming and nintendo and paired them with the hard to improve on style of the xbox controller. Any game that's going to use these controller features I'll be playing on the PS5. Seriously though, make a smaller one guys. This thing is a casino.

With the ongoing silicon shortage and current state of the market where it's almost impossible to find anything at MSRP; this is a bargain. PS5 games look and play great, whether running in performance or fidelity mode. For the modern PC gamer, the load times are fine but nothing all that impressive. If you're coming from the base PS4 or PS4 Pro then I'm sure you'll appreciate it more. I should note that loading PS4 games took a bit longer to load compared to my external 1TB Samsung 860 Evo. Also consider purchasing an additional NVMe since you only have 667.2 GB available to you, the rest is allocated to system files and the OS. The fps boost on older PS4 titles is nice to have but was surprised to see super sampling was completely missing. So if you're playing a game like Uncharted 4, it won't render at 1440P then downscale to 1080P (my native display res) as it did on the PS4 Pro. For a game locked at 30 fps that option should be there. The dual sense controller has a great shape to it but I'm not a fan of the squishy like d-pad. Over time it will squeak and I've been using it lightly over the past few months. Haven't had any analog drift issues yet but it's something to keep an eye on.

The new console is fantastic. If you dont have a lot of discs already, get this one without the disc so that you can save good $100.
