Absolutely love the system. Got worried with that extra step.best buy makes you go through to get them, but I got lucky. The dualsense controller included in the box is a gsmechanger, and possibly the best controller ive ever used. My only negative anout the system is the smallish ssd save space. Its 925gb and its full after a couple of the newer ones are installed.

The PS5 is a superb console that offers a compelling next-gen gaming experience - and one that will likely only get better as more titles are added to the lineup. The PS5 proves itself to be both powerful and well-designed. A few small issues hold it back from being a five-star product at launch, but otherwise it's a welcome upgrade on the PS4 and an exciting portal to next-gen gameplay.

This item is beautiful. All that's left is for me to get a. 8k Smart TV to go along with it. Would have loved the 1TB system, but there is an external HD to help with the memory expansion. All in all. 9/10

This definitely feels next gen. I know most people are either PS or XBOX, but from someone who has owned both previous gens and multiple iterations of both consoles, this one does take the crown. This might be because of the games, they do feel next gen, but you can tell these games are not pushing the hardware yet, so I am really looking fwd for the games that come out a year from now.

Load times are down, console is upgradable, ports are good, still has a drive. All around, the PS5 is a competant playstation without an eye watering price (if you can score one at MSRP). Its still an investment, but with backwards compatibility to PS4 games, theres a huge catalogue to explore. Overall, its an amazing machine.

I've always been a playstation fan. We don't have great internet, so we don't really notice a difference in picture quality. It's a gaming system that games though. There are still bugs being worked out, but they are getting worked out. If you aren't in a huge hurry to get one, I would recommend waiting until this hype is over and Playstation can take more time to fix the initial issues. We haven't had any big problems, but there have been little things. One of the USB ports can give you issues. If something is plugged into it, it seems to jam up the disk drive just enough that it makes a loud noise and gives you an error that it can't read the disk in it. This problem has been solved for now by simply not using that port. There are plenty of options in that area. I feel like that is a manufacturing issue though and not a technical bug that can be fixed with firmware. So again, wait if you can. There have been other technical glitches, but nothing that has affected gaming or streaming to where they are unusable.
