Customers are saying

Customers commend the Xbox Series S for its affordability, compact size, and impressive performance, especially considering its price point. Many appreciate the ease of use and fast load times, along with the benefits of Xbox Game Pass. However, some users point out limitations in storage capacity and the lack of a disc drive as significant drawbacks. The console's resolution capabilities also receive mixed feedback.

they had just one left in stock when we got to the Wilmington store, so it was definitely meant to be! It’s about half the size as the Xbox one and doesn’t have disk slot but it runs very well and it also came with a new controller. Definitely worth the price of $300!

After 3 days of use, I turn it on and there’s no signal, called Microsoft and went through troubleshooting.. nothing worked, have to send it back and wait for them to ship a new one. I expected some faulty consoles, just didn’t think I would pull the short straw :,/ from what I was able to play though, Assassins Creed Valhalla looked very sharp on my 1080p tv and the performance was how you would expect! Overall I think the console is worth $299 if you are going to use it for 1080p-1440p gaming with 60hz refresh rate!

Bought this only because series X isn’t available but I don’t regret buying it because its just fine! Very light weight and small, so you can fit this thing just about anywhere. Quick resume is most noticeable for me. & also load times are about 20 seconds tops.

If you can qualify for the financing, then buy this xbox bundle, well worth it for 25 dollars a month, you get the xbox series s and a 2 year membership of xbox game pass ultimate. also remember the game pass is already pre-loaded onto the xbox, just turn it on......

The small form factor of the console itself makes it a great console to travel with. Nothing wrong with digital only consoles. When you scratch your discs, you have to buy another. You can’t scratch digital games and they are there wherever you can connect to the internet to download anytime.

A good upgrade from the xbox1. Good price range. Looks sleek, takes up less space, runs smoother! No loud sounds. Has a on/off button that helps from the older version that even the SLIGHTEST touch it would turn off/on. A gift to my husband, he loves it! Was so excited to see it.

You know what they say...happy son happy life. Our previous gen Xbox broke it was 2 years out of warranty so fixing it was not an option. So happy the old one broke because the new GEN is so much better. Graphics are out of this world. Processor is so much quicker. LUV IT.

Wow, this thing is smaller than an Xbox One S. I'm very surprised by the size and the capability of this system. Overall it works great and the only downside is that you can't play blue rays or any disc. The Microsoft store does have a lot of affordable content and is worth it considering the price.

I bought an open box and you couldn’t even tell that it was previously used. No rattle in the controllers or system. If you do buy a used one, make sure whoever the 3rd party seller has good reviews. I didn’t know it’s not always Best Buy.

I got this instead of the PS5 because I couldn't get a PS5. I was pleasantly surprised by the gaming versatility and available games. The games I add from my desktop can be played on the Xbox and if I had an Android phone, there too. This system is the 2nd favorite in our house, after the Switch.

If you are new to the Xbox portfolio or an existing user, the Series S works out very well for an additional console. We have a Series X for the main TV and started adding Series S consoles for secondary TVs. Plenty fast, smaller than the older Xbox one S, and faster by a wide margin,

Everything seems great so far. The only unfortunate thing is the lack of optimized games at the moment. Fast loading, and great graphics. The system is a lot smaller in size and doesn't take up a bunch of room. So far I'm happy with the price point, and as of now am not missing having access to a disc drive. The only issue I had was trying to set it up through the app. If you don't do it then it takes a bit longer to set up. Also, if you miss the code the only way to get it is by doing a factory reset.

The boot up is really fast, the graphics are a little better than the xbox one and the download times are fantastic. I downloaded a 156GB game in 10 minutes and it took my bf 2 hours on his xbox one. Biggest flex over him lol. Buy it at 12am to 3 am for pickup in your area, you have a higher chance of actually getting it while it's in stock without delivery fees; Same with the series x. They restock roughly every Tuesday or Friday that Microsoft ships out from what I have observed.

Every good system. Not as good as the X, but every close be hide. In some instances it beats the X in loading times or handles some games a little better.

I personally don't play video games but my grandsons sure do and the look on his face was priceless when he opened it up on Christmas eve. Price was in the general range across the but they don't offer the warranty and geek squad when you purchase from Best Buy.
