Keep installed only the games you play and you will have no issue with storage. Performance is next gen for sure

As long as you aren't looking to game in 4K, this system is amazing! It starts up and runs very fast, and games load quickly! My only gripe is that it is easy to fill up the 500 GB drive, but it can be easily managed with external drives.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great little console the presentation isn’t much different from the one but being able to play the new games and the old ones at a good frame rate is nice. the only downside I can see is the lack of base space to play the series s/x games those need ssd so any external hard drive won’t work only the 220$ memory card Xbox sells can give you more space and with cod or 2k being over 100gb a piece. your gonna need the extra space

We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox Series S. If you're running low on storage, you have a couple of options. As you mention, the best solution is to invest in the Seagate SSD 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S, which will add 1TB of SSD storage to your console.
Another solution is to add a standard external hard drive, which can be used to store and play Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S.

I can tell the difference in quality from last Gen but if you can afford it you'll enjoy the X version better. This one seems to be for younger gamers. I wish I would've bought the bestbuy warranty because the controllers go out so fast from usage. Microsoft doesn't cover them in the warranty.

I can take it anywhere and it still does things that my old xbox could do.

I enjoyed everything about using the XS. Enjoyed it so much that I decided to return it for the Series X. I don’t notice much difference between the two but I always buy the highest model.

Don't sweat getting a series X if you cant find it and this is available. I was not impressed until I played a few games on my One X, now I don't want to play my "older" xbox. I am still waiting for a series X for my living room.
