I can tell this drive is faster than what is installed in the PS5. Games come up a few seconds faster. This drive is A+ is my opinion.

Good but I would recommend WD850 if available.

I replaced the drive with a WD 850 and the WD registered 6500 MBs. Honestly I didn’t see any performance issues with the 980. The drive worked flawlessly with all my PS5 games even out performing the system SSD. However, the 5500 MBs rating concerned me so I made the switch. So if you have the extra money and it’s available buy the WD 850. If not, the Samsung 980 pro is a great drive and I would recommend it!

Haven’t had it long enough though. By far it definitely is faster than the Intel 660p nvme m.2.

I am very happy to have this for such a cheap price. I’ll be building my pc this weekend wish me luck!

Reliable and fast. Only issue is that it is not cheap. But good products do not come cheap so it is worth the money.
