It installed easy in my Alienware x17. I shouldn't really knock the product for setup, but it really was a pain for me. I installed it into the second ssd slot and booted up. Then I youtubed various ways to clone the ssd and did that. What I was left with was 2 ssds with windows on it. I then shut down and moved the new ssd to the number 1 spot and took out the old one and tried to boot. That's when issues began. It wouldn't boot and I ended up resintalling the old one and after trying various ways to make it work, I ended up deleting everything and reinstalling windows on the new ssd. It was just not as easy as you would think, and I'm sure it was alot to do with alienware stuff loaded on the drive. But it wasn't very easy to replace this drive. And then on top of that, the samsung magician software doesn't work. it says it isn't compatible with my drivers. I googled that and there is vague answers on how to fix it. So I'm knocking a star just because I feel like samsung should have a better help section on this product.
