All Background Noise

It sounds great if you are talking 3-4 inches away from it, otherwise, it's all background noise. I used a sound meter and the background was below 30 dB. It picked up the air conditioner and it sounded like the droning of a car engine at 100-150 Hz. I could bypass that with a filter, but when boosting the volume it just got noisy. I have no idea why so many good reviews for this mic. It would be great to collect nature sounds as it is very sensitive to all sounds, just not very good at picking up the human voice in the same room with it.

For some reason, I cannot get this mic to pick up my voice half the time. I’ve changed every setting and tried so many things, but it does not want to pick up my voice. No problem picking up background noises on discord with noise suppression on though.
