The rollerball makes it so easy as you don't have to continually move your hand. I love it!!!!!! The batteries last a long, long time.

I really appreciate the fact that you can have a small ceamped sapce on your desk, and still accomplish so much with thia mouse. Yes the price is getting high though.

We have used trackballs at our manufacturing facility for 20 years. The original Logitech trackman was connected via a USB cord allowing connection to KVM switches. The wireless technology has improved since 2000 and now this trackball is on every desk. Battery life is good.

I previously had the M570. They last 2-3 years before the clicker wears out - I do use them alot (approx 60-70 hours per week). The other mice that I've had only lasted 9 months or so.
