I wondered why it was returned open box. Now I know. Fortunately, I planned on placing it next to a power strip with 3 USB power ports. I lucked out. I think the unit is great, as long as you have a USB port to plug it into.

Never need batteries for the xbox controllers. We just put them on the chargers and the controllers are always ready to go. Batteries last a long time too

If you have it with a controller facing you, you can't really tell what's going on with the one behind it. Surprised it was bus powered, haven't checked to see how long it takes to recharge two empty batteries. Good value!
