My fridge ice maker has gone out multiple times and wasn't ready to buy a new fridge. Saw the Insignia Portable Ice Maker on sale and decided to give it a try. I love it. Makes ice very quickly. Very happy with it.

Our ice machine from our fridge broke. Saw a similar machine from my sister. It was a very good alternative in having ice at home rather than buying expensive blocks of ice every time.

I wish the ice cubes were of a consistent size. I use it almost every day. Basket fills quickly. My 4 yr old granddaughter fills it up with water whenever she comes over. She loves watching the ice drop.

Works great and is very convenient to have. The only downside is it's very difficult to clean and it needs to be cleaned on a weekly basis.

After unpacking the machine and washing it good. I used 3 bottle waters to make a load of ice my family enjoyed now. Makes two sizes ice cubes but we like the large size but is not large to fill the cup when pouring your favorite drink.

Got this to supplement out ice needs while our freezer was broken. Great little ice maker for lower than namebrand prices

This did exactly what it says it will. It worked well but in the end I returned it because it didn’t have the output I needed. Best Buy handled the return easily & quickly.

My hubs says this is the best purchase we made for the fifth wheel. It runs everyday. Never a problem.

The second one works great! I hope it continues to produce lots of ice cubes.

It makes ice fast I’ll give it that. It is louder than I wish it was. And the ice sticks together. I get it out and transfer it to the freezer as soon as it’s done and no matter what the ice is wet and dripping water every time. I have it sitting on a counter that’s away from sunlight with only a stand mixer and a blender beside it so this is frustrating. The only way for the ice to be usable is if you put it in a cup and use it immediately. Otherwise it becomes one HUGE clump of ice.

Great machine. Small, compact and doesn't take up space. My go to ice machine!

I bought one of these for my dorm last year and was stolen on moveout day. I just purchased one for my apartment and love it. So much better than an ice tray or buying ice.

this is a great gift for someone that needs the extra ice for parties or fridge doesn't have a ice maker

This thing is perfect. I got it so i could bag my own ice since i work outside all summer long & its awesome. Not expensive either.

So far this ice maker has been great. We use it almost daily and we just used for a cookout over the weekend. Great addition if you have a home bar or if you're just entertaining and need a steady flow of ice.
