It works quickly and relatively quietly. With tap water, the ice comes out cloudy, but that may just be the quality of our water. The ice doesn’t have any extra taste.

This ice maker is pretty good for the money you spend on it, it also fits on the counter well.

Good size cubes, works great. Must empty extra water asap. Ice will melt if left.

Great addition to our kitchen. It makes ice every 5 minutes. We never run out now. There is two sizes of ice as well. Highly recommend! We use filtered water to make our ice & recommend buying a filtered pitcher.

Love this ice maker. The only issue we have is that it’s a little hard to clean and builds up mold pretty quickly while even only putting filtered water in it. It works awesome other than that

So far it has been a good investment making ice fast and a lot of it! Look forward to continuing to use it throughout the summer!

This ice maker is the best thing ever for college students. I got an ice maker for my dorm and I love making iced coffee with it. The best thing ever.

Love it. We just bought a house and the refrigerator doesn't have an ice maker so this is the perfect substitute until we get a new refrigerator. We will still use it afterwards as well because it's so good.

Love this little thing bought it before it got too hot my family and I love cold drinks it makes over a pound of ice in an hour. I use filtered water and it stays clean. Cant wait for BBQ and parties

Its ok for probably one or two people. I was sort of expecting it to make ice and once it produces the ice it'll stop making it and keep it frozen. Not at all. This device doesn't keep the ice frozen so once it produces it, it'll keep melting overtime, thus an endless production which is very noisy. I don't keep it plugged in all the time unless I know i'm going to have a glass of burbon the same night so I plug it in the afternoon an hour before I'm going to enjoy a drink.

we bought one of these for our sons family and decided to buy one for us too! We love OURS too? We are very happy with the purchases and would buy them again.

The ice maker in my house is constantly on the fritz. Even though we don’t use a lot of ice it’s good to have it when I need it. Usually just make a few batches and put it into containers until I need it.

It works pretty well but sometimes an ice cube will land on another just right so the laser that tells you if the machine is full and stops making more but it is not really full

When the ice maker went out on our expensive SamSuck refrigerator for the second time, rather than buying a new refrigerator or paying for another $600 repair, we bought this Insignia ice maker. At first, I was not impressed by the 9 cube output. However, if you give this little ice maker an hour it will churn out a bunch of ice!! Right now my review is 5 STARS and I 100% recommend!! I will update the review if any issues develop in the future!!

I love ice ! This machine makes ice and does it very well. Makes ice every 7 minutes - Nice cubes and it fills my bucket before I have finished my morning paper -- I have only had it for 48 hours and have used it a lot !
