    Purchased at a very reasonable Black Friday price of $90. My family likes our ice made from spring water, so the fridge machine just doesn’t cut it. However, we go through a $5 bag of ice weekly. This machine allows us to make the same amount for about a buck. So it will eventually pay for itself. Only downside is that the machine pauses when the tray is full, which is pretty small. So we have to periodically empty it for production to continue. Would prefer bigger batches.

    I'm enjoying the ice maker. I wish it made more than 9 cubes at a time. I try to empty the ice into a container and put it in the freezer after each cycle to make sure the ice doesn't freeze together in clumps. The small ice is much softer than the large pieces.

    We always run out of ice and this machine works. It is quick and have to use ice right away. If it stays for a few hours, it melts.
