    Not as good as a built-in ice maker in a refrigerator, but it does the job. When you transfer the cubes to the freezer, the cubes freeze together so you need to break them apart when you want to use them.

    It was a toss up between this one and the similar Frigidaire model. We are happy with our purchase. I do wish the lid was insulated. The ice partially melts while waiting to fill the basket so its wet and sticks together when we transfer it to our freezer. For less than $100 it serves its purpose.

    Great little ice maker. I love ice and I have had this machine running 24hrs a day since the day I bought it. I’ve only turned it off twice and that was just to move it. It has made ice the entire time. It is a little loud when it drops the ice but once your used to the sudden sound it doesn’t bother you anymore.
