    Makes ice quickly, first cubes come out small and porous but they are out within 10 minutes. The unit does not keep them cold so transfer to the freezer or use right away is necessary. Once the unit gets going the ice freezes harder and the ice seems to be made more quickly.

    This ice maker suits my needs in a small household. It will not store ice, but that isn't a problem for me. If I needed ice for a party, I would start early and move batches of ice to a freezer.

    1st one i bought quit working w/in 1 year. But liked the quickness & size it made ice. Unfortunately, the 2nd one i purchased will not make small cubes only large cubes.
